Bio Photo Currently doing geneology on Walton, Dyer, Goodman, Converse, Lewis, Lloyd, Ploense, McCormack,Lamphere, Benjamin, Douglass, Coulter, Popejoy, Marsh,East and Edwards lines. This all started when my oldest son wanted to do the Geneology Merit badge for Boy Scouts. I helped him get started now I can't stop. I love documenting and proving all of the dates for my ancestors.
Mother of 4 boys. So when I am not working on Genealogy I am playing taxi driver. Between Boy Scouts, Wrestling, Football and Baseball. The boys and genealogy keep me busy.

Nettie Goodman
I have added Nettie's parents. Thank you for the information. I had a great aunt who married William C. Goodman, who I believe was a brother of James.

RE: Lamphere
Here is a link to who is buried at the Hope Cemetery from the township.

Unfortunately, it is private property and not accessible.

Josephine Austin
Hi Pam,

Recently I contacted a man named Gary Ostrowski who is the General Assistance Director at Downers Grove Township about locating Josephine's grave at Oak Hill Cemetery in Downers Grove, Illinois. He tells me he has no record of Josephine being buried at Oak Hill but he will continue to look into it. He did do some online searching and found birth and death dates and locations for Josephine and Daniel, her husband but I suspect you already have this inforamtion. He also found some information on Daniel's parents John Austin and Lucinda Jenks Austin. As I imagine you've done, he also looked at Find A Grave and saw David's headstone at the Butler Family Cemetery in Oak Brook, Illinois and the memorial for Josephine. Last, he went to but got the same data.

I am going to give it a few weeks to see if he turns up anything more and if he does I'll take any pictures at that time. If he doesn't find anything more I will record the problem on Find A Grave.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I wanted you to know that it is being looked into.

Glad you like it. No, I am no relative -- just came across the obituary so added it with the hope it would help someone with their genealogy.
