I am originally from Elko, Nevada but lived in western Colorado for 26 years before recently relocating to northern Idaho to be nearer family. My husband and I have two children—a son who along with his wife and their daughter live several miles away in Washington and a daughter who died as the result of an accidental fall when she was 13 years old.|
I have been interested in genealogy for over 30 years and, now that I am retired, can devote more time to doing what I love. My family research includes the surnames Riordan (originally from Millstreet, County Cork, Ireland but now in Nevada), Elsberry, Hull, Studer, Boies. Anyone having information, please don't hesitate to email me.
If anyone sees any mistakes in my work, please let me know so that I can make corrections. Or if you would like any information added to any of my memorials, such as an obituary or photo, I would gladly do so if you forward it to me. If I have posted a memorial for one of your relatives, I would be happy to transfer their page to you if they are not a relative of mine. You can make a request by going to their memorial page, clicking on the EDIT tab and then clicking SUGGEST A CORRECTION and entering your request and how the person is related to you.

|KMS||RE: Bertha Ronquillo|
Thank you so much, Connie, for braving the chill to take an updated photo of David & Bertha Ronquillos' grave at Evergreen Cemetery. I will share the image with Bertha's daughter.

Hi Connie I must have been in a hurry when I sent the link info for William S Cutting Find A Grave #143194762 as the parent of Albert Lester Cutting Find A Grave #58399147. That is incorrect info. William S Cutting is Albert Lester Cutting's grandfather & not his father. I should have sent Albert Lester Cuttings father Chauncy C Cutting's Find A Grave #135217542. Sorry but I think that is my first mistake since 1957 LOL. Anyway I just thought I would write you here & explain my goof up instead of just sending another edit for this. Maybe you can correct my error. Thanks for all your work & have a good one. Mark Cottrell
Hello, Just want to thank you for adding the headstone photo for my in-laws in Evergreen Cemetery. Joyce

Thank you very much for the Schroeder transfers. You are too wonderful for words. :-]
I still have a bit of work to do on their pages but have got a bunch of it done this morning.
They were challenging to figure out. I have dabbled on that branch off and on for several years. I have kept finding more and more stuff on them here and there and the pieces are finally coming together.
The more we work at this genealogy the more smarts we pick up along the way and different tricks to help us find what we are looking for.
I am sure insanity runs in the family. I know because my ancestors sure drive me crazy trying to figure them out. Har har.
There is a Carl Harvy/Harvey Schroeder buried in the same cemetery with them. I have studied him at length and it just does not look like he is related to them at all unless quite distantly. This Carl and a 13 year old boy tragically drowned fishing. I have a very lengthy story from the Idaho news about their deaths. I will send you some details on Carl when I get time.
Connie, my husband's Grand Aunt Bertha (Palacio)Ronquillo died in 2013 and is now buried beside her husband David (Memorial# 55937967). Because the photo in David's memorial was taken in 2010, however, her death date is not visible. I know that Bertha was born 02 July 1917 in Arizona and her granddaughter tells me Bertha died 18 July 2013. Would you consider updating the photo if you're nearby sometime?

hi. this isnt a correction per se, but an interesting situation you might be interested in.
these are surely the same person, i wonder if there's a story behind the 2nd grave site.
the only john mitchell 1853-1936 in idaho death records is listed as interred at morris hill.
i wonder if his daughter gladys was the one who married edward mason griffin of larimer, co. who is a cousin and seems like i've seen your name on some of that family's memorials.
