Thank you.
Thank you for the great photograph you took of Felix & Amelia Schwenderlauf's headstone at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Oakdale. The photo is a nice addition to Find A Grave, not to mention to my family tree. I appreciate the time that you took out of your day to do this for me.

Greetings, Don:

Middleton Byrum was the brother of Martin Van Buren & Elijah Byrum. Martin Van Buren Byrum is my third great-grandfather. Martin's granddaughter, Katherine Lucille Jones McHenry, was the second wife of Robert Albert McHenry (the grandson). Their son, Robert Wesley McHenry, is my cousin. He passed away with no children.

Robert Albert McHenry (born Vermont), married Matilda Margaret Hewitt; their only child was Oramil McHenry. Matilida's parents were Samuel & Nancy Hewitt; both of whom immigrated from Ireland in 1833. They had eight children; seven of whom survived to adulthood.

Nancy's sister, Eliza Jane Hewitt, was the wife of Henry Langworth.

Please let me know if this is the type of information you need, or if there is something more specific.

Most genuine regards,
T.L. Elam

Raymond Drieschman - Oakdale Citizens Cemetery, Oakdale, CA
Hi Don - Thanks for uploading the photo. I was there a couple weeks ago and might have the photo myself, but I took so many cemetery photos over the course of a week that I haven't begun to go through them. This man just needed a photo, as do several Purple Heart recipients.

I met a couple Find A Grave volunteers when I was there, maybe next time I'm in town I can meet you. I'm so appreciative of other volunteers who help me with both my family tree and random memorials.

Got through all the veteran photos I took at St. Stanislaus Cemetery and now I need to do the same with Oakdale Citizens. Always like to get as many Veterans added as I can for Memorial Day but it's a never ending process. Thanks again for the gift of your time and great photograph. -Nancy
