At a late age I became interested in from whence I came and whom. If your search has been like mine, none or vague records and very little family documentation it has been a very frustrating venture. I decided to try and make a difference in this world by publishing my finds. FIND-A-GRAVE has given me that chance. I did not know all of my entries but wish I could have. Everyone has a story I would like to have heard theirs.|
I will correct any information that needs be.

|Tracey Witten||Samuel's great grand niece|
Good morning. I am Tracey Witten. Capt. Samuel H. Ward was my great grand uncle. His sister, Blance Ward Young was my great grandmother. I have a couple of documents I think you would be interested in. I would be happy to mail you the originals. I have a newspaper obit, and the original "General Order"-a letter announcing the death of Capt. Ward- and sent to your mother, I presume.
I will also email you, to give you my contact info.
Thank you for posting his grave on this site, as I have been trying to find a way to contact you.
|Jerry Ward||Roland Morris & Hanna Helen|
I am trying to trace my grandfather..James Ward who I believe is the son of Roland Morris &Hanna Ward. James Ward married Elizabeth (Lizzie) Rees in March 1891 and had 2 children, Andrew Morris & Emery Leo. James & Lizzie were divorced sometime after 1900 and before July 1902. I have not been able to find any info on where he went after the divorce. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...Jerry Ward
