I am a US Navy SKC(SW) retired and doing this just because I like to. I have received help with my genealogy research from several people and will do the same in return, if I can. If you need any help at all in the Greater Vancouver WA area, just ask.|
Fair winds and following seas, shipmate.

|peg richardson||RE: Richardson Cousins|
Great to hear from you, most of my info is post George. My line is George, John Griffin, Elijah, Gilbert Richardson]
I have a letter from Mildred [wife of Gilbert]Richardson stating the Richardsons came to Virginia, on a land grant from the King of England, in 1636. The families branched out from there to Missouri and Illinois. From Illinois the majority of the Richardsons traveled in "pioneer expeditions of oxteams and prairie schooners through what is now Spokane when there was nothing there but afew Indians and went on to settle in Oregon."
Elijah and his bros. Obediah travled west in 1849 returning to escort other family mbrs in 1851. George's wife Sara Griffin Richardson followed in 1852 w/ daughters Sara and Mary Jane.
There is a Thomas Richardson [1743 Pa] married 1760/1 to Hannah Robinette w/ son George [+Edward, James] but I have NOT confirmed he is our George's father.
If you find anything, I too, would love to know more.

Hello, Doug - I believe she is still alive. There is a 91 year old Mildred Hance living in Hays, Ks.
I hope this helps.
I was wondering if you could take a picture of William Gipson grave marker. He was born in 1815 and died in 1902. He was my gr. gr. grandfather.

Doug, I would like to transfer Earl Hance to you. Also, a stone just behind theirs was John W. and Mildred M Hance. I have added them also and if you have a connection I woul also like to transfer them to you.
|Beth Phillips||Essie (Phillips) Johnson|
Would you please take a photo of Essie (Phillips) Johnson's gravestone for me? She's buried in Greenbush Cemetery in Lafayette. (I used to live down the street from there, on Underwood St.)
Also of her husband, Courtney F. "Red" Johnson?
Thank you tons for your help.

Thank you sooooooooooo much, Mr. Taylor, for taking the photo and reporting that Lee's stone is missing.
When I started doing my genealogy, I did NOT know my great-grandparents names, other than "Roxy". It took me years to find them with just the one name and I found them a scant 3 weeks ago on the SSDI and was absolutely flabbergasted when I found them and other family members on this site.
There aren't enough thank you's.
You're quite welcome, glad to be able to help!
