I have been interested in genealogy research for over 15 years. I enjoy taking photos and adding the information to this site in hope that it will help someone researching their family. I especially enjoy filling volunteer photo requests because it combines my love of photography, genealogy and volunteerism. If you see any mistakes or have additions to my postings, please let me know and I'll make corrections. |
Tip: Please include the gravesite location when requesting a photo. Most cemeteries only give out gravesite information to relatives. This can be done by calling the cemeteries directly.

Your memorial page for the above person should be in the United Methodist Church Cemetery in Succasunna, NJ, not the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Succasunna. The two churches are right next to each other and they share the cemetery in the back. The person overseeing the cemetery told me that Sarah Jane Ebner is on the Methodist side. Thank you. Joan s.

Hello ~ I have linked Thomas to his father, William, (135821173) per your request. You state Thomas' mother is Bertha but Thomas' obit states his mother's name is Beatrice. Do you know for sure his mother is Bertha? Thanks, Jo C

His biological parents are already listed and I feel for genealogy purposes they need to be listed so I just posted your request under his bio and hope that gives them due credit for raising him and his siblings. Thanks so much for your information.

So very happy I could help. I do not believe there are any others with similar names near by this grave. During any future visits, I will recheck to be sure and let you know.

Thank you so much for posting this. William Paul Crumly was my Uncle. He never married and lived alone in Brooklyn. He died of a heart attack on the street and was buried by the state. His extended family were all in Texas and were not notified of his death until after his death and burial when his landlord contacted us and reported him missing. I did not know where he was buried.
Are there any individual markers on the graves in Potters Field?
Would you consider transferring this record to me, Diane Robbins (#47179711) OR if that is not possible please add this information. I am in the process of linking the family on Find A Grave.
His Father: John William Crumly Find A Grave Memorial# 43381080
His Mother: Lelia Ariel Burns Crumly Find A Grave Memorial# 43381109
His Birth: 19 Aug 1914 White Flat, Reed, Oklahoma
You're welcome - I'm glad they helped. Joan S.

Hi! I was wondering if you would consider transferring the management of this listing to me.
John was my great-grandmother's step-son and I am in the process of adding this family to Findagrave and would like to be able to link him to his parents.
The memorial number is 90951609.

Regiment? i can not quite make it out.155th?
Thank you for y our response and all
your hard work..
|Erin ||RE: Transcriptions?|
A transcription was made of the cemetery in 1917. My 11th great grandfather is presumed buried there Joris Jansen Rapalje, though he doesn't have a marker. It turns out there are more burials by far than markers. I discovered the 1917 transcription last week and spent the weekend adding the remaining 287 names to find a grave, as well as updating memorials with what information I had and calculating birth dates. With the deterioration of many of the stones now unreadable, the record taken nearly 100 years ago should be preserved. Thanks for adding memorials and photos! It makes such a huge difference for those of use seeking information so far away, I am in Oregon. Hopefully you or other volunteers will find the time to full photograph the cemetery and pictorially preserve what is left for the future generations.:-)
