Hate to start this way, but..... as of May 1, 2014|
☑ Lecturing and admonitions from F-A-G demagogues, [which resulted in my removing my e-mail address], will be ignored with lightening speed!!!
☑ No e-mail address and no acceptence of "public messages"!?. Send NO "Suggestions" or "Edits". If I can't verify your information, it may be ignored!
☑ If we philosophically differ (I do check bios) about copyrights, creative commons, transfers, et ceteras, I will edit and/or add information in your behalf. Do not request a transfer!
☑ Need to copy and use photos I have taken? Take the honorable course with a clear conscience. Give me credit only if appropriate and take no profit from my efforts. That's bad juju. ~and~
☑ My work is not copyrighted!
I believe that FindAGrave serves as a tremendous genealogical resource and that to do so is not in concert with my genealogically oriented FindAGrave comrades. My work is my gift to posterity and, one day, I will be honored to appear at this site. If others do not philosophically agree, then sadly .............. they are what they are! ***** I respond to transfer requests on a case by case basis; dependent upon the bio of the requester. As stated by FindAGrave, "memorials should be viewed as works in progress." So, [other than Civil War Veterans, who I do not transfer ~and~ my direct ancestry] be your relationship vague or distant, if you are committed to improving upon one (not just collecting it), please feel free to request a transfer. Please use the SAC/EDIT feature.

As you can see, it finally worked. I did nothing different, but this time it happened.
Still, I have some other pictures of the same head stone; back of it and a couple details. I can email you those.
Thanks for the offer to help.
|Noah Kern||mumper request|
I have pictures of Mumper at Mount Joy Cemetery in Lancaster County PA.
I tried to fulfill the request online, but it would do it.
I can just send you the pictures, if you like.

Thank you for remembering and honoring my sister.

They are all together in the 1900 Benton Co MO census, In 1910 Fresno Co CA census the 2 youngest are living with Aunt Mary M Vance Wright, and her 2nd husband Flavius Josephus Wright. Soooo by deduction both parents either died before 1910 in Benton Co MO, (or, Fresno Co CA)...
Harvey's brother Grover Cleveland Vance is buried in Mountain View Cemetery, Fresno Co CA

E-mail me at email@example.com as I have found marriage record for G.B. along with two obits for his first wife.

I photographed all the grave markers as I said I would. I've added photos to the existing memorials that you added. I've entered the information for the remaining people into the official spreadsheet and it is ready to upload. I am not particularly interested in creating memorials of those not related to me so if you can email me your contact information I will send the file to you. Once you create the memorials I will upload the photos for each one. You don't need to request the photo.
FYI, one of your uploads, Sr Mary Robert Semerau, is not buried there. The obit on the memorial says she is buried at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Ill.

I received your message. Yes, I would be willing to add information to her memorial.
Thanks for the photo!

Hi Gary - thank you for spotting my linking error! I wonder how late it was the night I made the memorial to miss something so obvious?! I don't know who his parents are, and the 1880 census didn't pop him up, so I will leave his bio blank. Thanks again! Janet

I took a look at all of the Selma graves marked "Unknown." You are correct in assuming that they are of people of Japanese descent. All of them of Japanese; in fact, a number of them simply say "Grave of a Japanese person." Apparently, these people were buried without anyone knowing their identities. Most Japanese use Chinese characters in writing their names, so I may be able to translate at least a couple of the surnames. I will do some more editing a bit later.
