I have been doing genealogy for several years and have taken several pictures of my family and relatives grave stones. I am a retired pastor and my wife and I do a lot of traveling. I have many hobbies but photography probably tops the list even though some pictures don't come out the way I want. When I take a picture I try to make it as readable as I can and try to post all that is on the stone. I'm not just trying to post to get a large number but to help others with genealogy as I have been helped.|
I have found a lot of newspaper articles and the funeral brochures that my parents had of people that I didn't know but I have posted several. I would be glad to help in any way that I can. I will transfer your relatives or close friends if they are not my relatives.
You may use any pictures that I have posted for genealogy purposes only.

Thank you so much for the transfer of Fannie Kauffman. Have a great day !!

I have found this tombstone on your virtual cemetery, and I think this is really PERMELIA HAMMONS PRUETT, who married Micajah Pruett, in Tennessee. They had a daughter named Margaret, and I have found family trees on Ancestry that say Micah Pruett and Vermilia Hammons were married, and had Margaret. The birth and death dates on the tombstone for VERMILIA are not the correct birth dates for PERMELIA, but, please, use this a lead that this may really be PERMELIA HAMMONS PRUETT. PLEASE, ANYONE INTERESTED, CONTACT ME, DEBBIE ROSENBLOOM, AT firstname.lastname@example.org. Let's solve this mystery....

Your very welcome friend

Thank you so very much. He may be buried there without a stone, or the tombstone in Oklahoma, for an "L.R. Blackmore" might be him. I think we need to look for church records, or original burial records.

Thank you so very much. I was hoping that maybe the cemetery was in the area that you reside.

Sarah (Hays) Blackmore is buried in Sidney, Illinois. THANK YOU for posting the picture of her tombstone. Her husband, Laban Blackmore, was living with her in the 1850 census. His tombstone is NOT on FindAGrave, but I am wondering if he might be buried beside her. Some people show "L.R. Blackmore" buried in Oklahoma in 1881, but they have no birth date for him, so it seems to be impossible to "assume" that is the right Laban R. Blackmore, or another person with the same initials. I am not finding him after the 1850 census, although the census might be mis-indexed, so he may be there, but I just haven't found him yet.
I am wondering if you might be able to help determine what happened to Laban Blackmore, born ca 1801 Ohio. I am a volunteer chapter Registrar for DAR. A lady I am helping would like to join DAR through Laban Blackmore.
Thank you for anything you can do to help me.

7 children - Amazing. I have one son and an adopted son. My son pastors a store front work in Plano, Tx. (not UPC). He is a marvel and he has 3 sons of his own: aged 5,2 and 3mos. They changed everything. But, I dont have to tell you. I dont know how you keep up with 20+ grandkids.
My adopted son is unmarried, but serving God. That means everything.
I am happily divorced and a high school principal.
I love the work you have done on Christian Heritage and I am currently writing a book on the history of Pentecost in this region, so I am always looking for data.

God uses you greatly
I am honored.
I am older than you, I think. (67).
But young in body and spirit.
Do you have Texas roots?
