Bio and Links
Bio Photo Son of Donald and Elizabeth (Streamer) Fisher of New Harmony, Indiana. I have lived in many states and countries during my life, but I have always thought of New Harmony as my home. I now live in Centralia, Washington where my children Sabra and Stewart also live with their families.

I have been doing genealogy for many years and was very excited to find the Find A Grave site and to see that it is free. I'm planning to work on it as I have a lot of monuments/markers, individual and family photos and information to add to the site. Family lines include Fisher, Streamer, Hunter, Stewart, Harrison, Pote, Wade, Nash, Eaton, Davis, Goodman & Edwards.

Concerning Transfers: With any Find A Grave memorial that I maintain, if you are a closer relative than I will transfer. Please send a transfer request using "Suggest a correction" under the "Edit" tab on the memorial page. Send a request for each memorial that you want with your relationship.

Errors: If you find any errors, duplicates or have additional information for any memorial that I posted, send me a Correction or Suggestion from the Edit tab. I will be glad to make corrections or additions.

Any pictures I have taken may be used by anyone without asking permission nor do I need credit for anything I contribute to your memorials.

RE: Peggy Warth headstone
I am trying to transcribe the entire Portageville cemetery. Many of my family members are there. Many of which do not have Find a Grave memorials. I have pictures of several Warth headstones but haven't created the memorials yet. So keep checking back in the next few weeks.

Matilda Blake Martin Cowgill
Mr Fisher --
I am researching my Blake ancestors in Posey County, Lynn Township. My great aunt Matilda was in New Harmony. She was the second wife of Isaac Cowgill. I found an old newspaper clipping about her when she died there. But I cannot find her grave. I think she was buried next to Issac and his first wife, but without a gravestone. I've been told her name was just etched onto the side of Isaac's. Is there someone in New Harmony that could verify this for me -- perhaps even with a photo?
Thanking you in advance,
Denise Ellis

RE: Fisher
Thank you. I am looking for a William Joseph Fisher who married a Mizella Forston.

I am also related to Flavius Fisher just in case our Fisher families might be intertwined!

Best regards,

Thank you, Mr. Fisher. I will merge them in with my memorial pages when I get time. It should be within the next few weeks. I only use the internet at the library for a few hours once or twice a month now, so I am behind on a lot of things.
