|Have been interested in family history since about age 12. Started adding names to family tree in our Bible after my husband and I were married. Wrote to relatives, asked questions, saved things. In 1990's, began contacting town clerks and cemeteries across the country by phone and letter. In 2001, moved into computer age and researched much more. In 2007, started transferring all paper records and photos to computer records. Also started visiting cemeteries to get grave pictures to add to family tree. And while doing that, decided to take pictures of old stones in good condition, and unusual stones, thinking maybe someone would want them. Someone told me about this site, and I am now starting to add my pictures a little at a time.|

Cheryl. Thank you for your Infirmation about Emma White and son. I live about an hour from Brandon and pass through a few times a year on my way to family visits, so I am not sure when I will be by there again. But it is a small cemetery, so I will walk thru to see what I can see. If there is a stone for her, and son, it should still be readable. Let me know here death date. Also, I suggest you set up a memorial on findagrave in that cemetery for each of them with whatever information you have and set a request for photo on the memorial page. There are people closer to Brandon that may take a look see. Lastly, do you have the names of family in Colchester VT and their dates, were they Emma's side of the family? Perhaps they had her name and dates on a stone in their family plot. It could be she is buried in the Church cemetery and husband never got around to having a stone placed. While troubling not to know exactly where she is buried, she rests in Vermont...and that is a good place to be. Perhaps that sentiment will be of some comfort to your family. All best wishes!

I am so glad to hear the photo helps your family history. I will be uploading photos for the entire cemetery (where markers exist) over the next couple weeks in case you have any other relatives. Best of luck! James

I'm working on the family of Stearns. Is that someone in your tree? You have a lot of good info.
Of course feel free. I also have a photo of a stone for Lorraine Yungermann that I haven't uploaded yet as I still have to create a memorial, that is someone in the family correct?

I am referencing memorial numbers 101562682 and 101562699 if that helps. They have the same birth and death dates

Hi Cheryl, found the graves of Tillie, Paul and Louise when looking for Christina and now that I look at your records I think you have two separate ones for Christina with each of her married names, is that correct?

He descends through one of the twin brothers Levi and eventually to a 3rd grandmother Emily Diadamia Austin Sayre in New York's Finger Lakes [Ontario County]. It is interesting how the names keep repeating and repeating. There's just one couple, Emily's parents, that I can't find burial information for so the link is broken still.
