|J S Allmon||RE: Old Antioch Cemetery - DeKalb Co, AL|
Sorry to be so long in answering but life has been a marathon here lately. My information on the Old Antioch Cemetery was given to me by a woman who had been there and took the pictures I have. It was about 15 years ago that she came by our place and we visited and shared info on our family. She was advanced in age at that time and I haven't heard from her in years.
Ethel said that unless we were going out DeKalb Co., Alabama for other reasons and just wanted to go find the cemetery and see it, it would be a disappointing and futile trip. The cemetery is very old and in poor condition. Most grave markers are either broken or shoved over by vandals or so worn from weather that they are no longer readable.
If I remember correctly Ethel was not able to locate anyone with a roster of burials, and with markers so destroyed it was hard to identify many of them.
I will look for the envelope of info she left with me and see if the name of the person you seek is included in any of it.

I'm attempting to verify that this cemetery
is the one depicted in your picture. The map location and the written location of:
west side of route 47 & approxiately 1/4 mile of Village of Champion, NY
New York USA
Do not mesh with the location itself. There is also another cemetery listed as Hillside Cemetery which I believe to be the correct one.
I took pictures at the location on Route 26 in the Town of Denmark and would like to get them entered.

Seems Find A Grave resized it to be too small to really read, so glad it could be of any help at all, Diane!

you have his wife's m picture on his memorial, and nothing on hers. Could you please delete it from him and add it to her - Florence. They are in Shoreland Memorial Garden.

I noticed that you posted some photos for Olive Aumack on her husband, Borrowes Aumack, Sr's memorial #38465104. I created memorial #132440358 for Olive Aumack and linked it to Borrowes. I was wondering if you would post the same photos of Olive's headstone that you posted on Borrowes' memorial onto Olive's memorial?
Thank you so much!

I don't live near there, but visit family for Memorial Day to decorate graves of ancestors. Sometimes I get visit once or twice a year. Next time I'm back in the area I could see if I could find the marker and take a picture for you.
