I am a semi retired land surveyor living in Northern California and I enjoy taking pictures in cemeteries. I have much better originals for most photos and will gladly e-mail them on request. I will transfer management of memorials to almost anyone who wants them, and have been known to transfer management even if you don't ask. |
From a research point of view, I'm interested in Houghtaling (c. 1800), Babcock (c. 1800), both in New York State.
For some cemeteries in California, when I enter an obituary with initials (mst) after the newspaper credit, I am giving credit for the research to Sue Taylor who has provided the information for the Pacific Grove High School Alumni Association.
If you need some research done on the families of any persons who's photos I've posted in my geographical area, let me know. I have friends who may be willing to do some research "just because they like to." [1/14]

Hey Jerry, thanks for the tip. I think I'll put that on my plate (and to do list).
Say, I sent an email to you about a month ago, or so, asking if you have any tips on who to hire for a surveying job in Junction City. I have a friend who is looking to have his property re-surveyed.
Do you have any recommendations?

FYI: I added photos for all the other Robertsons buried in that plot under their memorials. Also, I added memorials and photos for another Robertson family I found farther down in the same section of Linden Slope.
I just got a new camera and wasn't sure what the pixel setting was set on. I'm going to leave the pixel setting alone for now and see if they say anything.

Thank you for the Gladys Gavel information. I have added it to her site.
|A Girl Who Loves Genealogy||Hello there Jerry!|
Was wonderful seeing your note today!
I was thrilled to start that little Tusket Cemetery!
Though I am at the southern tip of the US, most of my relatives were UP North!
I did try contacting someone in Canada in order to get photos uploaded to this site since many of the towns are organized when documenting cemeteries but could not find a site that would add these wonderful photos of the cemetery!
Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!!

He was the husband of my 1st cousin 2x removed. His mom was Gertrude and he had a brother named Robert Lee. I haven't done much research on his line, as he is not blood related. I do have dates and locations if you need them. Hope that helps?!?
|Shelley MacDonald Harris||Augusta Montgomery|
Hi Jerry, if you'd rather contact me via private email, mine is firstname.lastname@example.org. I have permission to research this line, through Hazel Bernice Montgomery (Froloff), daughter of Augusta, for my friend. He would be so appreciative of anything you may have re: his family line. I am not in a rush, only want to be sure you received my reply. Thanks again for the photo.
Thank you so much Jerry, I appreciate you sending me George. So cool that you knew some of my husbands family that lived in the area.
