Joseph Hooper
Hi William,

I based Joseph's birth year on what I found in the cemetery book, They Passed This Way, compiled by the Houston County Historical Society. The majority of the entries in the book reflects the gravestone. Not sure if the cemetery is still there or not to verify. I will change the date if you believe it to be something else.I am no relation and I am not studying this line. Thanks,

Joseph

Mad
William II Longespée
original burial place in Church Of Saint Cross, Israel

His effigy is in Salisbury Cathedral that one is the cenotaph

On the dob it depends on what source was used and also it would be c1212 or c1207.

A cenotaph is a tomb or a monument erected in honor of a person or group of persons whose remains are buried elsewhere. It can also be the initial marker for a person who has since been interred elsewhere.

Geol Lapeer/Elkland Cemetery Cass City, MI
Hello! I saw your request for Geo. Lapeer... Elkland Cemetery has a pretty thorough listing and map online, so I searched there. There is a Geo. Lapeer listed in Elkland but b.d. is 1920 death date is 1997. There is a Dewey Lapeer with a birth date of 1898 I believe. That is the closest date/name I could find to "your" George. and nothing with his wife's name that I could see. Do you know where he lived prior to his death?
