I am the sixth Alice in the family. My great niece, also an Alice, is good enough to look after me, though she is a pretty young thing and should be dating and getting married. Meanwhile, I stick to the computer. I think my camera days are over and young Alice is afraid of my favorite cemetery, Old Tacoma, which she insists is haunted. If anyone wants a transfer, I'll hand it over, even if it is in my own family. Just please use the EDIT tab for your request. Thanks everyone. Keep up the great work out there. | |

 | David Hall - Sargeant Alice,
I have made the change for David Hall. Added the Sgt before his name.
Thank you for your help. | | | Kathy Mailler
 | RE: Maud Arnold No problem. Maybe the guidelines on the website need to be clearer on creating cemeteries. Does not help, though, when cemeteries have been called different names over the years. | | | Liane
 | Hartwich - Mr.. or Mrs? Hmm that's a puzzler! The mortuary records say exactly as my memorial says. But the archives show a male Harwich dying the same year as the Mrs. The Father's name on that.. gosh that does seem like it should go to the Mrs. Makes me wonder if they misentered the gender on that certificate. Though I suppose it is possible that Mr Hartwich was adopted.Added by Liane on Jun 16, 2013 5:55 PM | | | garrett596
 | David Hall - Sargeant Alice,
Thank you for your suggestion. I have removed the...Medical...part after his name. I have however, left the Sargeant. I do not have an obituary for him. I had gotten the information from his Military Headstone Application. | | | Kathy Mailler
 | Maud Arnold You are seeing her in two cemeteries because she is buried in an abandoned cemetery behind the Highland Mills Methodist Church. Everyone (including myself at one time)thinks this cemetery is part of the Cemetery of the Highlands. It isn't. They have no burial records and they do not maintain it. Before I created this as a separate cemetery, I did ask the Find A Grave folks if this was the right (and accurate) thing to do. Many members send me messages to remove the cemetery, but I believe in reporting correct facts. The memorial on Cemetery of Highlands should be deleted.

 | RE: Elmer Brown Hi Alice,
Just wanted to send you an update. I sent a message but never heard back from the other contributor, hope he is okay. I went ahead and deleted mine. If there are two Elmer Browns in the cemetery hopefully someone else will find him and add him back.
Also, I'll put Conrad Hoska in my to do on a rainy day file. Right now I'm trying to spend as much time outdoors as I can.

 | Dupe catcher extrodinaire! Seriously Alice you catch them like Scooby Doo looking for a snack. The last one you sent for Charles Euell/Enell I'd say is the same person. Good catch! Keep up the good work and take care!! :)Added by Liane on Jun 16, 2013 2:19 PM | | | Tru Calling

 | RE: Minnie...... No problem checking. And I just looked at Minnie and Hazel's and see that you were able to read the small stone. I might have to go back and try to see if I can raise some of the letters on the other two. I go a lot so will update you if I do find something. Also, could you send me your email address? I didn't keep it. | | | | [View all messages...] |
