Bio and Links
Bio Photo I do this for the history, for the genealogists, for the kind hearted, and for those of us left behind by the loss of our loved ones. Rest in peace mom, I miss you so very much.

Since I am human, I do make mistakes! If you find an error, let me know, and I will make changes as soon as I possibly can. If the changes requested are lenghthy and detailed, I am somewhat disabled, I will transfer ownership. If you are a relative of an individual I have listed, please let me know and I will transfer ownership to you. ****A piece of advice - when your sending/requesting a correction to a listing someone has created here - think about how you are saying it and what you are going to say....reread before you hit that send button. Sometimes a person can come across as being rude and not meaning to. It's all in the wording!!

I will not transfer any memorial created by me through the International War Photography Project. Also, the photos I have uploaded for IWPP do not belong to me, so out of respect for the true owner of the photos, please do not use them without consent from IWPP.

And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you,

Oops! I meant John A.King's father. John was married to Mary E. Hoxsey.

Hi Peanuts!
John Hoxsey is my husband Paul's great-great grandfather. I am trying to find out who John's parents were, through ancestry, but coming across conflicting results. Some places say his father was Thomas Jefferson king, others say Jefferson king. Both of these people have different wives mentioned, but are were born and died in the same place, on the same years. Seems like some info has been merged somewhere. Would you happen to know? I, too, am impressed at all of the research you have done!!

I did delete already, but I have the information in my notes. She was my husband's great great grandmother.

I am overwhelmed with all the work you have done. I love the countless numbers of great photos of tombstones you have added to cemeteries for Find A Grave. I do not want to see the record added by you cancelled. I am equally overwhelmed with all the knowledge and skill that I have witnessed in the work I have observed that was done by Connie Edwards Thomilson for Find A Grave. She has been my greatest teacher in Find A Grave. I regret that her entry of Henry Nelson "Nelt" File was added as a different Henry File than the one you recorded five years before you did. My hope is that her contributions will be added as edits to the Henry Nelson File you created. I would even accept the nickname "Nelt" because Find A Grave includes nicknames. When I was a young lad I called him "Uncle Nelt" even though he was not my uncle. I would also appreciate it if a copy of this message could be sent to Connie.

Randle-Martin Families
I am searching for the grave of Martha Jane Randle Martin 1829-1908 in Alhambra as stated on her death certificate. She is my husband's 3rd great grandmother.

You have created memorials for her husband, John G. Martin #16419775, her father Josias Randle #16406708 and her mother, Hannah Randle #16406717.

I feel she is buried close to them in Harris Cemetery. My great fear is she is in an unmarked grave. Hopefully, you might have something in your records.

Thank you for your great work and the time and effort expended.

Graves in Paddock-Flagg Cemetery
Hi Peanuts. I am one of the sextons for the Paddock-Flagg Cemetery in Moro, Illinois. You have some entries that are duplicates of ours. I would like to merge these duplicates, and would like to end up with the most complete memorial. Your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Patton
Hello Peanuts. Sure, would love to send the card to you. William Strasen is my uncle by marriage. He married my mother's oldest sister, Annette Zimmermann (Strasen) who lives in Bethalto still. I've not spoken to Uncle Bill in many years. I was pretty sure he was still living. I don't see (talk) much to my cousins, Dennis, John, or Richard. I do apologize for the late response. Life has a way of keeping us busy. Where would you like me to send the card to? I have find it first, but I'm pretty well organized. Ms Patton is not part of my family. Found it while going thru some of my mother's stuff, who is still living.
