Before my mom passed away I started on the journey to discover my family ancestors. I don't remember how I was put in touch with my cousin but we meet about 5 years ago. |
That meeting started me especially after the phone call to my mom. They talked for two hours and I spent the next day gathering photos of people she remembered. The past came to life for her when I brought them home. She enjoyed them for almost 2 years before she graduated to higher ground.
What was interesting is that the past also became part of my present. Now as of August 10, 2008, the tree is being redone. However, this wonderful resource was found as well as an increase of information. The tree now stands at 6,011 people. It grows every day with new discoveries. All because of a computer crash new life is growing. With the help of others for every question answered ten more come up.
For that reason I am glad to experience the ever expanding network on this long journey. As they say many hands make work lite. Lets all work together and see what else can be found.
Thanks a million times something,

Menzo Garfield Puelz is my great grandpa. I would be happy and blessed to manage this memorial if you would transfer this to me.

If Mollie is your Great Grandmother, then we are cousins. I am interested in who you descend from. I descend from Jessie Lee Roberts Livingston...

RE: record #31651515 for Israel (and Nellie) Howell in Mason City Cemetery.
This headstone is missing from the plot listed on your entry. I was curious if your data comes from written records or if you actually performed a reading of Mason City Cemetery. I'm trying to determine if the stones have been since removed or if their location is possibly different from that listed.
At the plot listed, Block 10 Lot 93.00, there is found only a cement base.
Thanks for any information.

What a great story you have to tell.
sorry I am new to this and am not sure if the grave I referenced linked to my last question about Susan Huff Harper; Could Thomas Silvers be her first huband?

Could this grave be the first husband for http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=50700237
I cannot locate any other Thomas Silvers on Find A Grave but that is not to say he is her first husband. I did not know if you had more information on this person. Thanks.

I tried to sponsor a memorial (31121544), yet the CC won't get accepted. I am willing to donate for the great work you are doing.

Doug, I wonder if you would consider transferring this Confederate soldier to my keeping, because I have a great deal of data to enter on him. This includes a letter he wrote home from prison camp in Chicago Thanks for your consideration.
