|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
This is something I wrote for Traci:
It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.
As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.
I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"
Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.
Sharon (Traci's mom)

Sounds like a good plan. I send the obits because they provide information that helps us link family members and update the memorials. It's up to the member if they want to use that information.

That you so much for taking photo of my great uncle Risden's 2nd wife's marker. This makes family history so much more interesting.
|Lois Harriman||Schoolcraft Photo Requests|
I see that you have been busy doing photo requests! My camera died and I finally got another one; although, it's not a good one. It only takes 36 pictures. Anyway, I was ready to get out there once again. I checked the requests for Schoolcraft and saw that you had claimed them so I went to Vicksburg. I'm getting better at finding markers there but it's still difficult. I would never find any if it weren't for the Kalamazoo Genealogical website! Thanks so much for telling me about it!
Hope you are well and enjoying our autumn.

Thank you for the photo!

Thank you for taking the time to get a phot of Johnie Best's gravesite. Yours is so much better than mine. I happened to be at the cemetery last Saturday for his granddaughter Diane's memorial service and took a quick one, but it didn't turn out too well.

thanks so much for taking this picture of my great grand-uncles gravestone. No one in the family knew where he was buried and now you have opened up a whole new avenue for research for us!

|Amy Dunn Hohler||Pre-need memorials|
Thanks for the note. I only post memorials for those people who have stones since I use photos for the information. Per FG, "We do realize, however, that when transcribing a cemetery, it is not always possible to determine if the person is living or not. Please do not add pre-need memorials from (1931-present) to Find A Grave."

Would totally appreciate any info on the Phelps--Ira Phelps (1802-1878 passing in Prairie Ronde) who was married to Chloe Hull (1800-1870) Jan 23, 1826 in Castile, Wyoming, NY are my daughter's 5th great grandparents by their daughter Jersuha Amela Phelps (1836-1869) who married William Butcher Jr (1825-1896) about 1862 and had a daughter Ella Martha Butcher Jacobson Blakely (1863-1895). Ella Martha was born July 15, 1863 near Schoolcraft. Ella Martha's mother, Jerusha Amela Phelps Butcher (wife of William Nov 22, 1868 32 y 9m 2d) was buried in Harrison Cemetery but according to a 1989 survey, the stone is gone. Thank you in advance!
