My husband and I are avid geocachers, and have gotten in the habit of photographing cemeteries while on our frequent road trips throughout the Midwest. We try to fulfill as many photo requests as we can, or will simply snap a few shots of interesting headstones. Many of the memorials we have created were the result of photographing random stones and finding that they were not already listed on Find A Grave. If any of these memorials are relatives of yours that you would like to manage, we will be happy to transfer ownership to you. Just ask!|

Thank you for getting the photos. I appreciate your help. They are my uncle & aunt and since I live in another state it makes it hard to visit the graves to take photos myself.

Thank you for the very nice picture.

Thanks for another transfer. :)

Thank you for the transfer. Your entry of his memorial helped me in my family search. Then last night I saw you had his wife, Julia Maria Beadles, as well. If you don't mind, I will request that memorial to be transferred as well.
This has been such an exciting find and I thank you for helping me with a family tree connection!

Could you please tell me where you got the date of death of this veteran. There is no date on his stone. Fairland Cemetery in Maryville, IL. Thanks, Rod Schmidt
|Courtney Jones||Oliver Safford #86191891|
Thanks very much for the full date of death for Oliver Safford! Do you happen to know if this is the Oliver Safford who married Nancy Andrews in MA and, at least in 1870 and 1876, lived in Malta, IL with his daughter Nancy and her husband, James Lock?

Thank you for posting the photo of his marker in Mayfield Memorial Park in Carlinville IL.

Thank you for your quick response as a "cousin" in Parkland KS. is planning to drive to St. Clair Co. MO. and search for his grave. I will let her know the possibility.
