Gaudens H Schenk's headston
May I use your picture of the headstone on ancestry.com for my genealogy? Thanks Tammy

RE: Peter and Martin Wolf
Thanks for writing! I have done quite a bit of research on Martin, my direct ancestor, and would love to collaborate. I'm crazy busy at the moment but when things return to normal in about two weeks, I'll get back to you. And again, thanks.

Thiele Family
Could you inform me where you got your data on August and Catherine Thiele. As one of two known persons who have Family permission to research the Thiele family. The person (Scott)has two August Thiele's combined. His information does not agree to the German records we have obtained from the Church. in Marinsee. In fact his August died after 1910 in Germany.

Thank you for the information on his grave. He must be in an unmarked grave, which is sad. Thank you.

Thank you. I appreciate your efforts and saw the photo you posted. It was great to see. I must be having computer difficulty because when I go back to it, the headstone photo does not display. I wonder if you had removed it. - Sue

Sorry to report that no headstone was found for Catherine. The location given to me by the cemetery is Section 21 Lot 126 between Jones and Moorehead. There was a little bouquet of flowers stuck in the ground in that area. I took a photo of it and will post it if you like. Let me know.

RE: Christ Droll Memorial
Hi Ken,
Yes, Elizabeth did marry The Chris Droll born in 1855. She had 3 children, Barbara 1881-, Christ 1883-1918 (flu), and Elizabeth 1885-1966. Christ 1883 was my wife's g-grandfather. I knew John Dieg was married to Elizabeth Schenk, but not of his other wife or child. Elizabeth 1885 married Walter Culnane. They are listed on the headstone you posted. I live in another state and have not been to St Joseph's cemetery. I believe more of my wife's family is there as well.

Christ Droll Memorial
Hi Karen,
First, thank you for adding the Drolls. I believe you have mistaken Christ's mom for his spouse in memorial # 66339067. His mom was Elizabeth Deig Schenk Droll. His wife remarried to Joe Klinger. This is my wife's family.
