"The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten." -- Cesare Pavese|
I love visiting cemeteries, ever since I can remember. Sometimes when I visit a cemetery and gaze over the area, I'm awe-struck by the number of souls who have walked this soil before me. Sometimes when I visit, I'm confronted by a dog who wants my lunch and when given it, becomes my friend for life. And sometimes when I visit a cemetery, I feel like I'm apartment hunting.
Forgive me if I make memorial errors or procedural mistakes. Please let me know of my errors and I'll gladly correct them. I'm just an old lady who's trying her best.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion...

Could you also include Joseph Vaughn Harrison, my grandfather and his brother William Harrison in the transfer of memorial. William had no children and is my dads name sake. Thank you ever so much.

I noticed there was a picture added to George Torrence Adlington's memorial and it says that it was placed by Memories from the Mist. It's him, no doubt! Just wondered where you got the picture and if you knew what he was trustee of? Thanks for your help!

Thank you so much for your time for the great photo of his headstone. It is so much appreciated. His sister married my grandfathers brother. I hear my dad and aunt speak of them in stories so I now have a photo to show them and hopefully find some personal photo's to go with it.
Have a great Fall and Bless you for your time and effort to help me.
Thank you so much for offering to travel back to Lewistown, but I actually drove there last week. I believe I have found her plot and will add the photo I took. Thanks again for all your work, as well as, your work with Illinois ancestors. I have viewed the Fulton County site and it has a wealth of excellent information.

Just wondering if you might be able to find the grave of Martha Waggoner, my great grandfather's sister-in-law, who is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown, Illinois. Martha was married to my great grandfather's brother, Dr. Don Waggoner.
Thank you so much for the work that you do for Find a Grave!
