Bio Photo My recent genealogical efforts have been geared towards locating the gravesites of my children's ancestors. I suppose that when I'm done, I'll have to repeat all these trips in order to locate old homesites...

Please note that anyone is welcome to use my photos from Find-A-Grave for their own historical research. And before requesting a transfer, please check my website below to see if I'm related to the person in question.

Mary Mellon
Greg - I am researching my ancestors, the Mellon family, with the object of memorializing them in the roster of Colonial Dames of the XVII Century. In connection with this, I would like to confirm what I believe you are saying; that the dates & information you have noted for Mary Mellon have been taken directly from the tombstone, which is still legible? In one instance you note you have added the "transcription" and I'm wondering if there is a "saying" that is readable or if you are referring to what you have already posted. If you could confirm this, I would really appreciate it as I need definite proof for the records I submit and the birth date has been an issue. Thank you for this and thank you so much for all the work you do in memorializing these wonderful old tombstones which are so crucial in keeping these people with us and remembered for all they did and gave! I look forward to hearing back from you - Lanita

Hannah (Matson) Davis
I note that you have submitted information re both Hannah (Matson) Davis and her husband, Charles Davis. Unfortunately, another person has provided a Find-A-Grave memorial for a Hannah Davis, who I'm pretty sure is one and the same person as your Hannah. To prevent confusion on the part of researchers, you might want to contact Find-A-Grave Contributor, Jim Hawkins, Contributor #42245094. Since your information is slightly more extensive than his, he might want to close his memorial. I have a birth year of 1712 for Hannah and 1706 for her husband, Charles.

Newlin graves
I assume you are a Newlin descendant and would not want to transfer management of the Newlin memorials you created. As a descendant of John and Mary Pyle Newlin's son Nathaniel, I manage the memorial for Nathaniel and his son Joseph, and have added detailed biographical information on them from Algie Newlin's 1965 genealogy. I had to delete my website because those websites are being phased out, which had an extensive file on over 30,000 descendants of Nicholas Newlin the immigrant. I had copied and pasted the narrative information in Dr. Newlin's book. His children have not expressed any objection to that. Would you be interested in copying and pasting the biographical information on John and Mary Pyle Newlin, his ancestors, and his children whose memorials you manage, to their memorial pages? I can email a file on the Newlins. My email is I am hoping as much information on our Newlins can be available on Find A as possible, especially since I can no longer provide a file unless I find another online way of sharing my information. As you can see, I manage memorials for Nathaniel and his brother John III, and the information shown there is what I hope to see for the rest of their siblings, their ancestors, and subsequent descendants.

Joshua Hadley and Sarah Lindley
Hi Greg:

Believe we are related? I am related to Mary Ann Terry who married David Hadley 1835-1909. If you have any information on a Joseph Terry who lived in Morgan County,Indiana,Mitchell Co.Kansas and was born in North Carolina please let me know? I live now in Rocky Mount,North Carolina, however, records in North Carolina around birth date 1800-1810 of Joseph Terry are very poor.
I would appreciate it if you would link Joshua Hadley 7146403 to his wife Sarah Lindley 46306064.
Also I am related to Phoebe McPherson daughter of John McPherson 1814-1876 and Sabina Holiday 1819-1882.
Hope to here from you. Thanks

Wm Twining #8988973
Just wondering where you derived Wm's birth year of 1619? I'm a direct descendant and everything I find says 1625. I also noticed there aren't any pics of the oldest stones in Middletown Friends Cemetery, are they are all missing or just unreadable? I know you did these memorial several years ago, you may not have info still. Appreciate any info you may still have to share. Thanks, Mary
