He is Jasper Newton Wells. He was born about 1835 in Edgefield, SC. Moved with his sisters and brother to Henry, Alabama. His father was John Wells. This is the Ancestry page if you have Ancestry.com http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/6963481/person/-1192845830 His parents are a work in progress.

Thank you for sharing these tombstones from Savannah. This is my husbands great great grandfather. We would not have found him if you had not shared because he was lost in the paper shuffle during the war.
