I am interested in preserving information about my ancestors, family and friends for the future generations. My main family lines are Franks/Phillips/Ingle/Martin. I am currently photographing and adding memorials for Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline, Rock Island County, IL.|
A special thank you to Angie for the transfer of my parents and Rebekah for the transfer of my maternal grandparents:
George "Willis" Phillips
Dora Elizabeth Franks Phillips
And thank you to someone I do not know for the transfer of my paternal grandparents:
William "Bill" Denton Martin
Patience "Effie" Ann Ingle Martin.
My Grandparents lived in Marion County, AL in the Pea Ridge Community. I have many fond memories of them. I was fortunate to have known all four of my grandparents and three of my great-grandparents.
And thank you to rebekah for the transfer of my Uncle Thomas Leonard Phillips who was killed in action in World War II.
I have kept records through the years, and have pictures I want to share. A photo tells a story. All photos I submit to findagrave are taken by me or handed down through my family. These photos may be used for your personal use.
I want to help other people find their family.
While searching cemeteries for my relatives, I have added memorials for people not related to me in hopes that family members will find them. If you are closer related than I, I will gladly transfer.
Those that have passed before us are more than a name and date. My goal is to have "meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
If only a year is shown on the headstone, dates are taken from the USSS Death Index . Information from obituaries is not always correct. If there are any mistakes, please let me know. I always appreciate and welcome additional information. If I have accidently created a duplicate, PLEASE let me know. If someone has added a photo that is of better quality, I will gladly delete mine.
Thank you to all who are dedicated to preserving our history.
If you have any questions, please contact me using the edit tab on any of the memorials that I manage or leave a message below.

Ms Martin, thank you very much for you taking the time on the picture. Jack was my father and I attended his funeral. It was a long time ago and I haven't been back to Illinois since then.
I was born and raised in the Quad Cities but moved to Northwest Arkansas when I was twenty four in 1976.
I just got back from two cemeteries down here where my kin are and made twenty photos of their markers. I have one more cemetery to go.
Thanks again and if I can help you please let me know.

|Tim Moore ||Thank you|
Thank you for posting the info for the stone of Fred Moore/Margaret C. Yeager Moore....my parents at Calvary Cemetery in Rock Island. I just added their photos. Now if I could just find info on Margaret's grandparents Frederick/ Margerite SkelleyYeager I would be a happy searcher! And also Frederick Yeager's parents.....I think Antonius Yeager/Magdalena Yeager who are very elusive.
My grandparents Harry D. Yeager/ Augusta Geiger Yeager are also buried at Calvary. I will try to get some photos of them posted also.
Thanks again. Tim Moore
I want to thank you for the head stone pictures that you addeded to Thomas F Harmon's and Dorothy M Harmon's grave sights. Best regards, Hobart Gray
