I've been working on my family tree for some time now. I'm so grateful to all of you that have posted photos of our family graves. Living in a small community, I don't get enough requests to really make up for all the support I've received from others. Thanks again so much! Please let me know if you connect to some of my ancestors. The names in my family tree are many -- Chaney, Wilson, Davis, Moyer, Koontz, Rice/Royce, Norton, Morton, Morrison, Eddy, Huggins, Fleming, Hutchinson, Horton, Gray, Harris, Dodd, Carnahan and many others.|
Also, please send additions and corrections and I will be glad to add them to the existing memorials.

|Ann Gardner||RE: Thanks!|
Hello --- Let me know if you would like to manage Philip Bolton's memorial. I spent some time researching the family, but am not related. ------ Would be happy to transfer.
|Mama Salmon||RE: Correction|
You're welcome. I hope the new info helps. I did see some Davis headstones at Pine Hill Cemetery but none for Dorcas. When I returned home I entered her name in Findagrave for Monroe County and thats when I saw her listed in Pioneer Hill Cemetery. Pine Hill should've been named something completely different from Pioneer Hill.

Thank you. I had a typo on Ireland. Got it straight now.
|Janet||RE: Osborn Chaney|
He died Mar 21, 1864, at Woodville, Alabama, Regimental Hospital, of typhoid pneumonia.
I found a record for him.
National Archives records on ancestry.com.
U.S., Registers of Deaths of Volunteers, 1861-1865 for Osbourne Cheaney.
Name: Osbourne Cheaney
Death Date: 21 Mar 1864
Death Place: Regimental Hospital
Enlistment State: Illinois
Regiment: 13 Ill V
Box Number: 4
(The image of the original record shows what he died of.)

Ooops... I forgot. His memorial doesn't belong to me so it's not mine to offer! I'm so used to transferring memorials, I guess (happy to do it).
Would you like to manage his memorial?
|Bob Carter||RE: Genealogy|
Chaney and Fleming. Mine are Patterson & Whitaker for the most part, but I collect lots of names via intermarriages.
Not knowing where you live or your geographical ancestry, some of the names you have on your profile tell me you might have roots in Surry County, NC or in the neighboring counties.
If I can help you with any research, please let me know.
You are welcome

Juli, I'm sorry but I don't have any information on the parents of David French. If I find anything I will pass it along to you.
