Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my family tree for some time now. I'm so grateful to all of you that have posted photos of our family graves. Living in a small community, I don't get enough requests to really make up for all the support I've received from others. Thanks again so much! Please let me know if you connect to some of my ancestors. The names in my family tree are many -- Chaney, Wilson, Davis, Moyer, Koontz, Rice/Royce, Norton, Morton, Morrison, Eddy, Huggins, Fleming, Hutchinson, Horton, Gray, Harris, Dodd, Carnahan and many others.

Also, please send additions and corrections and I will be glad to add them to the existing memorials.

RE: Duplicates
Juli, I am sorry for your loss. That is tough to lose your Dad. After the duplicates are removed, I think I have to add a picture or two to your memorials. At the moment, I even forget who we were working on. This is not that important in the larger scheme of things. Take care of yourself first.

RE: Two memorials
Two memorials
We have two memorials for Catherine Kline Moyer at Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery in Mifflintown. They are #62965076 (mine) and #135268340 (yours). I think it would be best to keep mine since I placed it first, and since it is also connected to sons and parents. We would need to get the photo of the memorial from the person that placed it on yours, though, and also to attach the daughters you have to my memorial. Would you be willing to work with me on this? Catherine is one of my direct ancestors. It might be best to discuss this at my e-mail address julijarvis@gmail.com. Thanks.

I would be happy to delete my entry whenever you like. You can click on the edit button on the entries to link the children to your entries. I added the photo of the tombstone to your entry. I have the permission form the photographer to use his photos. Have a good day, Leo Shelley

Samuel Moyer
Sorry, She is buried beside Samuel Moyer. It just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't have erected a marker for her first husband.

I must admit, I don't know now. Maybe I got confused. It seems like there isn't one wife in this Moyer family that is buried in the same cemetery as their husband. And I was going back and forth alot.
Do you happen to know if there is a stone for George Moyer who died in 1831. He is the direct line for my research and as you may know he died young and his wife married George's brother and she is buried beside George. And yet George doesn't have a stone?
Thanks for all your help.

Johann George Moyer
Can you do anything about the two George Moyer's for this cemetery? And the two Catharine's? Perhaps work with the administrator of the other memorials. It would be nice if all the connecting information was on one memorial. Thanks for any help you can give on this problem.

Davis
Hi Juli - Thanks for the information on the Davis family. I knew nothing about this line of our family until tonight. I had no idea that I was part Welsh. I appreciate you sharing your information.

RE: Flemming
Hi Juli, Thank-you for being so prompt and informative about Catharine Henry Neely. It was most helpful. I was wondering if you know anything about her being a descendant of Matthew Henry, the Great Commentator. According to Catharine's granddaughter, (daughter of Samuel Neely) Catharine Henry Neely, my 2xs great grandmother's obituary, she was a descendant of Matthew Henry. I have been unable to trace that line back. Do you know anything about this? Thank-you for your help in this matter. Susan Mecum
