"The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten." -- Cesare Pavese|
I love visiting cemeteries, ever since I can remember. Sometimes when I visit a cemetery and gaze over the area, I'm awe-struck by the number of souls who have walked this soil before me. Sometimes when I visit, I'm confronted by a dog who wants my lunch and when given it, becomes my friend for life. And sometimes when I visit a cemetery, I feel like I'm apartment hunting.
Forgive me if I make memorial errors or procedural mistakes. Please let me know of my errors and I'll gladly correct them. I'm just an old lady who's trying her best.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion...

Hello!! I am so excited I found the photos you'd posted for Zenas Hall and Betsey Hall.
Would you mind letting me manage their cemetery pages? They're my 4th great grandparents.

Happy Cemetery hunting!

Thank you for the transfer. How did you know I was just sending a cousin an email on this very family?
|Carolyn Leverich Atkinson||Vermont Cem Records|
Thank you for the additions to the Vermont Cem that you have added within the last couple of years. I have found that they are connections to extended families in my tree. I am hoping, as there are several Williams intermarried into them, that they might also be the same family as my ggg grandmother Julia Williams Hays who died in the 1850's cholera epidemic. We have no info on her except that she was married and had four children, and she died in the cholera epidemic. That is from the newspaper that was reprinted in the early 1900's on the anniversary of the time.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photo on my family website. Check it out at http://freienmuth-shortridge.com/ernst/buchheim-cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.
