Sheryll - Thank you so much for the tombstone photos, esp. that of Miss Piosik who was a teacher in my home town. I really appreciate your time and effort.

Fredrick & Emeline Weiss
Fredrick & Emeline are buried with William Weiss(7/10/1891 - 12/13/1915) and Herman Weiss (11/11/1884 - 06/26/1907). These might be their sons. If you want those photos, I will get them this weekend or next. (Because of trees, they need to be photographed early in the morning.)

Sheryll,
I note that his wife is not linked to his site.
Any special reason for this? Just curious.

Julia Phillips Thieret
I've been looking into Julia's kids - 4 Death Certificates on them give Mother's Maiden Name as "Phillips", one 'Unknown' - but on Theodore Thieret's Death Certificate, there is listed "Julia Conway". ...Close to the 'Connolly'! Informant listed as August H. (his brother)... So there's got to be something there on the Connolly or Conway thing. Can't find early census on her, but wonder if mother remarried to a Connolly or Conway...? Was hoping you could help solve the mystery. ~ Anyway, thanks for the reply! And no, she's not my direct line, so won't ask for transfer of ownership on Julia's Memorial Page. -- Keep up the good work!!! S.

Julia Connolly Thieret
You added the headstone for Julia (Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery). Thank you for doing that! I know she was married to Martin Thieret. On her Death Certificate # 25826 her Father's name is given as "(Unknown) Phillips". And on familysearch.org, several of the children's birth records list mother as "Julia Phillips Thieret". Question: Where does the name Connolly come in?

I have searched and can not make sense of it. Your help would be appreciated. [Martin Thieret's mother is a sister to my ancestor.]

Thank you!
Sharon

St. John's Lutheran Cem
I see that you have taken photos at St. John's Lutheran Cem (Bremen Twp) in Randolph Co, IL. I have been trying to find directions to the cemetery and haven't had any luck. Could you please tell me where the cemetery is located? I would so greatly appreciate it! Thanks.
