George Washington Dehority and Mary Draper (another daughter)
It is believed by my family that Sarah (nee Dehority) Cramer [wife of John Cramer] is the daugher of George and Mary. This daughter is buried in Cleveland Cemetery, Kingman County, Kansas. Have you considered linking records between George and Mary, and their daugher Sarah?

Bridgitte C Thorsen
Hello,from Norway.

I think the right name is Birgitte Christine Thorsen, born Berentsen. She was born december 29 1869 in Stavanger, Norway.
She was married to Halvor Thorsen, born august 27, 1865 in Bjerkreim, Norway. They was married in Kankakee, Illinois May 3, 1889.

Maybe there its a chance that you could help me to find the grave of her houseband.
In USA his name was spelled in different ways, like Halvar, Halvard, Thorsen or Thorson. I think he died may 31, 1937 in Canton, Fulton County.
Maybe he was married a second time with a girl named Lena Thorson, but i can`t find no grave.

Mooney Cemetery
Hi Amy - wanted to see how you are doing. Well I hope. I was a buddy of John Melton and you at the beginning. You are the one who got me started on all this genealogy stuff (a big thank you!), when I discovered one night in 2008 that you had visited Mooney Cemetery outside of Chillicothe on Rome Rd., and taken photos of my Mom's great grandfather's headstone, Patrick Boylan, and his son John Boylan. Mom never knew these guys, but she grew up straight down Rome Rd. going toward the river, in a little cottage right on the river that got flooded out in May 1943 right before her final highschool exams at the Academy of Our Lady in Peoria. Her mother Clara also grew up on Rome Rd., on the Wilhelm farm right next to the Mooney Cemetery (going toward the river). deirdesmond at (write me here)

24063020 Richard Crane
Hi (again!) A cousin just confirmed that is in fact our grandfathers headstone. And our grandmother Viola should be next to him. Again - if you have any insight or relation to our grandfather we would love to know!

Richard Crane # 24063020
I live a few hours away from this cemetery - my grandmother, Viola Crane should be buried next to her husband Richard, but i don't see that her headstone has been photographed yet. That would determine definitively if this is my grandfathers headstone or not.

Thanks for any info you may have!

Richard Crane # 24063020

Just wondering if you have a link to this man? I think this may be my grandfathers headstone. We don't have much family down that way to confirm so I was hoping you possibly had some kind of link/relation to him?

I am currently trying to research my family which i know little about on the Crane side. They were from Peoria.

Please email me at
