I have been doing genealogy for several years and have taken several pictures of my family and relatives grave stones. I am a retired pastor and my wife and I do a lot of traveling. I have many hobbies but photography probably tops the list even though some pictures don't come out the way I want. When I take a picture I try to make it as readable as I can and try to post all that is on the stone. I'm not just trying to post to get a large number but to help others with genealogy as I have been helped.|
I have found a lot of newspaper articles and the funeral brochures that my parents had of people that I didn't know but I have posted several. I would be glad to help in any way that I can. I will transfer your relatives or close friends if they are not my relatives.
You may use any pictures that I have posted for genealogy purposes only.

Oh my gosh, Rev. Dale Sims...YOU and I have been in a lot of the same cemeteries so I'm happy to meet you. I will check on Charles Brown.
Are you close to Pana, IL? I'm looking for a pic of William Gudehus' stone. I suspect that his 2nd wife might have been buried with/near him.
I have done a pic request.

Thanks you for taking the picture of my 3x g-grandfather in Zion Cemetery. I knew he died in that area, but I never knew which cemetery. I noticed his wife Nancy Chambers is not listed. Do you believe she may be in that cemetery and not photographed? If you would be so gracious as to transfer him to me , I would very much appreciate it. If not I could give you some of his family to link to him. Thanks again, Mark Miller

Dear Rev. Sims,
I have submitted some suggestions for the Memorial of Ellis Alexander Medlock #50932416 via the drop down suggestions, both for the order of the photos and in the biography section.
We found a cenotaph in the yard of an old home in Bedford, Indiana for him and I have taken the liberty to download it to the memorial.
You have done some very nice work on your memorials for Find A Grave. Thank you for your consideration.

Mahalia Hallie, b.????, d.???? h. Thomas Webb, buried in Colorado. (Found a Thomas Webb in Golden Cemetery, in Colorado, with dates of 1867 to 1934.
James Whitcomb nothing else on paper
Charley, buried in Missouri. nothing else on paper
Willard, nothing else on paper.
I found, questionable if correct, a birthdate for Whitcomb as 2-14-1847, d. 2-28-1885, buried at Pleasant Grove; Charley b. 10-9-1869,d. 4-27-1944, w-Pearl McCullough, buried in Missouri.
The paper I am taking this from, also states the children of Grant and Susan, as Whitcomb, wife Edith, Mary and Dovie Radcliff; William D. Paul and wife, Mary Jane, children as Arthur, Pearl Faris and James; and Hannigan as grandfather of Nellie Lewis Roberts.
If I find anymore papers concerning the Lewis's, I will send it to you.

Hi, I notice that you have entered several Lewis family members. I have a family tree sheet that my mother-in-law had, it lists children of David and Catherine Lewis, buried in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. It list the children as Hannigan, Sarah, Noah, Green, William D. Paul, Grant, Laura, Mary Exie, Mahalia, Whitcomb, and Charley. It also has the names of Grant and Susan children as Whitcomb, Mary and Dovie Radcliff; William wife Mary Jane, children as Arthur, Pearl Faris and James. I am thinking that Laura was my husband's grandmother. The form also states that Mahalia married a Thomas Webb, buried in a cemetery in Colorado. I have not looked through all the forms, so may find some others that you might be interested in.
I gathered some information from the info found on findagrave entries, as to who married who, dates of death, and etc. Thank you for all the info.
