I enjoy taking and posting photos.

Cemetery walking involves planning, time, gas, bees, flies, gnats, ticks, assorted other bugs, dogs, burrs, briars, weeds, tall grass, snakes, scrapes, cuts, mud, dirt, snow, rain, dust, wind, sun, rutted roads, hills and dales, getting lost, and BUCKETS of sweat.

I had to throw my lunch to a couple wild peacocks headed my way. Seems they have a fondness for egg salad.

I appreciate those folks who list their source when posting my photos to Ancestry.com :)

Annie Story Mundt
Beside Pearl Abbatt Story's stone at Springdale there is an Annie Story Mundt buried - I think it's her sister mentioned in your obituary of Pearl. I think she died in 1930, but I'm not (as yet) sure. I'll get back to you on this person.

Thank you for transferring my great great grandfather's John Weese memorial #63595394. You really didn't have to transfer it and you are doing such a great job with all your memorials- and I think I was pretty much done updating it. But thank you for all your help on that one and also other relatives that are in your care. I do so appreciate it.. Thank you- Steve Grover

Transfer & thank you
Hello again Debra,
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
James Elmer Reed # 113709299
to my care. With your help, I have successfully connected him with his parents, six of his eight siblings, his two wives and his two children. As I receive more information, I will add it to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,
Marcia

Mr. Galusha's Bones- Vicksburg Cemetery
By:Hoyt Cagle
Date: 7/10/2016, 10:25 am
A Western paper is responsible for the story that Mr. Galusha, a one-armed soldier, living near Aurora, Illinois, recently found the bones of his lost arm in a Vicksburg cemetery, where they had been buried after the seige. He identified the lost arm by a ring found on one of the fingers and preserved, the ring being numbered to correspond with the number of the little grave in which nothing but the arm was interred.

Northern Ohio journal (Painesville, Ohio) 20 Jul 1878 man. Appears to be, James Earl (Sam) Price
