RE: Fern Miller
When one does a search for a memorial, one should search the name, not just the cemetery. I created mine the day the notice came out from the funeral home.

Find A Grave guidelines state "Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days."

I did as was required.

I have also done as you did, and it did not show up in a search, until I learned the proper was was to just search the name. It will show up then if it's unknown, cremated, etc.

RE: correction
yes - her headstone has been in place since the death of her husband and her daughter verified that her middle initial is an E for Elma not Alma - as I do not have a copy of her death cert in the office I can go no farther with info than this.
