I made your edits and added the funeral notice. I was able to find his actual obit and added it. Thanks for sending the info. I also linked his first wife Amanda to him.

David Ruben Ramsey 1858-1934
Doing research on the Ramsey family. Now on the tombstone it says Sarah A. Ramsey. I would like to know her maiden name of Woodall came from as I can not find any record for her or their marriage in the IL Statewide Marriage index online under Woodall. I did find a David Ramsey who married a Sarah Nash 24 Dec 1882 in Independence ARK. In the 1880 cen. Franklin IL, Mary M. and David Ramsey are listed and he did marry a Mary M. Brock 15 Aug 1878 in Perry co. IL.In the 1900 cens. David and Sarah A. Ramsey are mar. about 20 years.

Sidney Ann Pettit
Diane,
How can I thank you for such beautiful photos over at the Garner Chapel cemetery. You are such a kind person to respond to my query so quickly. You embody the very spirit of the Find A Grave volunteer team and I thank you for this!

Sidney (Sid, Sidnor, etc. as she was known during her life) was the sister to my g-grandfather...I am trying to finish the Find A Grave work for all of the 11 siblings of this Weakley family and this is of great help to me. I have photos, bio narrative, etc. and would be pleased to have them transferred to me for maintenance. I will request thru the two Find A Grave numbers for accuracy.

Thank you, Diane! YOU ARE THE GREATEST!

Sidney Ann Pettit
Thanks, Diane. I appreciate your help.
According to the state of Illinois records she is buried there, but it may be that no photos were taken of her marker, if it exists. I hope that it is a small cemetery. I hate to see you trek there, but thank you so much.

Garner Chapel Cemetery
Hi Diane,
Thank you for the PETTIT contributions at the Garner Chapel Cemetery. I am informed that my cousin, Sidney Ann Pettit (1854-1933) is buried there. Also, possibly her husband, James William Pettit. You have already submitted a James William Pettit, but this is their child.
Do your records show either Sidney Ann or husband James William Pettit (sometimes called William Pettit)? Thank you very much.

Walnut Ridge Cem.
Diane,

Do you live anywhere near Walnut Ridge Cemetery? I was wondering if you could take a photo of a gravestone of Vernon Michaels no. 80575925, and his wife 80576043. Or know someone who could?

Thank You,

Reg Thompson
