I was born, raised and live in beautiful Northwestern Illinois. I love searching through old cemeteries for my family and helping others find theirs. I hope to get photos taken at many of the area cemeteries and posted on Find A Grave, as time permits. I am our family genealogist and love history and antiquing.|
Some of the family surnames I am researching: Lyon/Lyons, Millet, Edwards, Mitchell, Goodmiller/Guthmuller, Keck, Johnson, Stone, Grandy, Hazelton, Machamer, Hartman, Dubs, DeLong, Keeler/Kahler, Culbertson, Clay, Ortmeier, Hoefer, Ploeger, Krugjohann, Bokemeier, Knauer, Rath, Haas, Handel, Groezinger, Accens, Miller, Schleuning, Schnider, Manion, Patton, Oldham, Kavanaugh, Noland, Vertrees, Layman, Williams, Nalley, Henderson
On my husbands side: Groezinger, Koepp, Gerner, Slonecker, Mapes, Osterday, Justus, Byrum, Beardsley

No, she is not a relative that I know of, but I am always looking for Schmidt's in Illinois. That is where some of my relatives settled.

Don't fret, there is a lot of it going around>
|Roger Schneider||Casper Schneider|
I noticed you have Casper's first name spelled
Kasper (with a K). His ship arrival record 27 Jun 1861), the 1870 and 1880 ancestor.com census records have his name listed as Casper (C).
The Only record with the (K)is the Quit Deed record of Feb 1883 which was filled out by others. All other records (while he was living) has Casper with a (C). Roger

Hello.. I know you have done a great deal of fine work in the Mossbach area. I am reaching out hoping that you maybe in contact with some of Casper and Magdelena Schneider's family.
Casper and Magdalena's gravestones are really not readable so I am having a new basic grave marker set in between them with only their names and dates. That will take place on March 28th, 2015 at 12 noon. Was hoping you were in direct contact with my cousins who may still live nearby Mossbach. If so, could you have them contact me here, or if you would not mind, through you and will give more details about the celebration.

|Sheila White Hughes||Thank you|
This is a belated thank you for the transfer of Carl Mielke. I didn't mean to take so long to get in touch. I do appreciate the transfer very much! --Sheila
|Robin Maloney||Mary Rachel Tyrrell Lyon|
Thank you for the links. I am a Tyrrell by birth. Mary Rachel Tyrrell is 2nd cousin 5 X removed. Our common ancestors are her great grandparents Samuel Tirrell and Sarah Gurney. They are my 6th great grandparents. So I am a cousin on her father's side to her and to her descendants. There is no need to transfer the Hasting memorials unless you are looking to do so, then I would be happy to care for them. Robin in New Hampshire

Can you please transfer this memorial to me as this is my Uncle. Thank you.
The name on this memorial should be Ardella instead of Arabella Mack. Ardella is the name given on Walter Daniel Mack's Marriage Records for the state of Illinois. Ardella is the daughter of Jacob and Beulah Cain.
