I served 25 years in the United States Army retiring as an E8 (Master Sergeant) 1976-2002. I served as a Chemical and Technical Escort NCO.|
I am proud to be a Desert Storm veteran, serving in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
After Retiring from the US Army, I became a Department of the Army Civilian, serving as a Deployment Support Specialist with the 4th Infantry Division, deploying three times with them to Kuwait and Iraq from 2005 - 2008.
I just returned to the Scott AFB, IL from my overseas assigned with the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) in Kuwait.
I am a member of the Patriot Guard and proudly support the family of fallen Veterans.
A long time Motorcycle rider with over 600,000 miles riden.
I have only been a member of FindaGrave for over three year and I enjoy taking photos of grave yards for those that are far away from their ancestor's graves.

I guess this will be an ongoing problem...I just deleted a dozen or so Hofsommers that someone alerted me had been duplicated in St Johns. You can save yourself some work in the future if you want by asking me to tranfer, then editing the burial location. A few clicks would be quicker and easier than making new memorials every time.
But maybe most of Ellwood was correct, although 600 seems like way too many for that little corner.

There have been a few others that needed deleting for the same reason. It would be great if you could hand-draw a map showing the dividing line between the two and post it to both cemeteries. I've done that several times where there has been confusion because of cemeteries being next to each other.

Thank you for taking the photo of Mary and Adolf Germann's stone

Thanks so much for the photo of his marker.

Thank you for finding my error for the cemetery memorial that I created for Mr Walter, AND taking the photo of his stone. I had found "Illinois Death & Stillbirths Index, 1917-1947" records that shows "Cemetery Name - OAK RIDGE"
He was the 2nd husband of my wife's Grandmother.
