My original purpose in posting here is to photograph headstones and post the information I can take directly from the stone. Many headstones are becoming illegible due to age or vandalism and this is a site to ensure that there is some record that these stones existed. I will gladly edit my typos or other errors I may make in transferring information from the headstone. I will gladly transfer memorials per FAG guidelines. I suggest that you try Ancestry.com if you want to build a detailed ancestral record.|

Thanks so much for your info about the Holts. I know what you mean about not being able to verify all the edits...one day I had 42 edits and they weren't even about my own family...no way I could verify each one!! What I do now is add the contributor's number to the added info and that way the relatives can "duke" it out!!
I also wanted to say...as before..I love your gravestone photos. When I see your name as adding a photo..before it even downloads..I know that it is a great photo....super clear and able to be read.

I think I've managed to get the edit to go through with the edit tab now that I'm on my own computer.
I'm sorry if I cause you any problems with my efforts to get my edit to be accepted by the computer I was using at the time.
Thank you very much

Rev C.W. Holden married George to Alvira Beatrice Boyens on Dec 10, 1888 in Willimantic, CN and they had four children born in Lisbon, CN where George was town clerk 1893-1898.
I've tried repeatedly to leave this message on the normal edit tab but it keeps rejecting it because of something called a "Captua"
