Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired businessman who enjoys genealogy as a hobby. I find that genealogy and "Find a grave" go hand in hand and its easy to do both at the same time and both are very rewarding. In adding Memorials for those in my family I have added memorials for many non-relatives in hope that it will help others as others have helped me. If I've submitted a relative of yours and you would like it transferred to you, just ask. I live in the Omaha metro area and thats where most of my photos were taken.Researching Bender, Ausdemore,Hittner, German,Ternus, Bockholt, Hatzenbuehler, Kramer, Wickelman and many others. Most of My family came from Germany in the Mid 1800s and settled in the North Eastern Nebraska German farming comunities and spread from there. In my research if I run across a grave of someone in the Military that is Killed in Action they get special attention and i try to find out as much as i can about them and put it on the Memorial. We owe it to these Heros and they should not be forgotten.I authorize anyone to use my photos for any reason."Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you." ~~~Princess Diana

Can you confirm the date of death, because two dates are listed?

RE: Gerald Kelly
It was my pleasure! I was lucky to find the Nebraska photos while sitting in my chair over here in Michigan. There may be others you seek at this site...
I am working on posting as many as I can. I have several relatives there, and I recognize many of the family names via my mom and grandparents stories. I credit .....

You are very welcome.

We are looking for a lost ancestor and decided to help others out while we were looking. It can be hard to find information out on the high plains.

Thank you so much for the list of those that died in World War II. We will make a special effort to be sure they are honored with a flag. It is a small price for what they gave for us.

If you are in the area and are interested in helping place flags, we will be in the cemetery starting Wed May 21 at 9 am. We will work until dusk that evening and begin again on Thurs at 9 am working until dusk and Friday if needed. Any time you can give us (hour, two, half/all day) will be much appreciated as we have 5-6000 flags to put out. We have masonic groups, home schoolers, boy and girl scouts, other individuals, all helping at various times. We hope to have a table near the entrance to the cemetery or you can stop at the mortuary and they will know how to contact us.
