Sometimes I take random pictures of tombstones at various cemeteries. If they don't have a memorial page I make one. So if they happen to be your relatives let me know and I will gladly transfer management. Other contributors have kindly transferred my relatives to me. I don't believe in keeping memorials just to have a high count. The pictures I post are there for you to use.
RE: William Meyers #20795554 Hi Carolyn, In a nutshell: I screwed up. I posted photos of Harry to William's page. Given the identical death dates between the two, I decided that Harry must have been a nickname of sorts for William. After posting, I noticed their birth dates were different and that these were two different people. So I deleted the photos. You can open a new photo request though. I looked in Harry's vicinity for a William in the cemetery but saw nothing.
That said, how is it that these two died on the same day? Also the William page says that he was the son of Harry, yet the birth dates are only three months apart? The day of the month is identical for their births (12th) and deaths (4th), which leads me to think there's some sort of clerical error here.
Dorothy Morrison Thanks Carolyn for the information on Dorothy's parents. I have removed the names that I had listed. Their initials matched what was listed on Dorothy's marker and I just assumed those were her parents as I didn't see other Morrison's with those initials. I even searched Find A Grave and then came to the conclusion I had found her parents. So thanks for getting Dorothy with the right information.
RE: Marie Johnson #86457076 Thank you very much. My Dad, sisters & I have always been able to grow just about anything. It wasn't until I read her obit, did I realize where I got that ability. Her obit said she was known in town for her beautiful gardens. Thank you again.
Marie Johnson #86457076 Thank you Carolyn for posting a picture of my paternal Great Grandmother. Is there any way you can transfer her Memorial to me, so I may add more information about her. My Mother has told me stories about her and even though I was only 1 when she passed away, these stories, help me know who she was. Thank you. Elaine Neel
Lydia Rose Henke Morrison I see that you have put a lovely pic on this memorial. Do you happen to know the people? It reads on memorial she is buried in Texas but her husband is buried on Calvary Cemetery, Platte County, Ne I have been out to the Cemetery and have not found a stone for him. thanks
RE: Ema Messler You are most welcome. I apologize for all the water. I actually had to return with a broom to clear off as much water and leaves as possible. There is some sort of water leak in the cemetery and her grave is right in the path. At least it is readable. Cheers! Rich M
