Stolen Photo
I wanted to inform you that one of your photos has been stolen and placed on another web-site. It is located at http://www.sysoon.com/images/locust-hill-cemetery-vanderburgh-6161?seid=E6L4GH336R5PM8P&q=locust+hill

I am watching for other stolen photos including my own.

Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis
I noticed that you had contributed a photo for this cemetery:
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GSvcid=366062&CRid=27890&pt=Calvary%20Cemetery%20and%20Mausoleum&

A number of my relatives are buried at Calvary and I have been there and know that it is large. It took me a while to discover that the burials are indexed online here:
http://search.stlcathcem.org

I believe this link should be prominently displayed on the cemetery page but I don't know how to submit this information to findagrave. (Any contact I have tried to make to the administrators seems to have been ignored.)

I wonder since you were able to upload a photo, are you still able to add a caption to it? Since your photo is prominent on the page, it would be cool if you could give it a caption like
<--
'Search for a Burial Plot'
-->
I have a grave photo request waiting in a very long queue, partly because many of the memorials do not have a plot listed. I thought this might assist others in posting a correct plot location.

What do you think?

Vic

Thank you for your posting; but the birth place on the death certificate is incorrect. I found the actual birth certificate on familysearch.org It says he was born in Hicksville Twp, Defiance Co., Ohio.
The informant for the death certificate was mistaken. The URL for the birth certificate is https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1951-23318-42258-89?cc=1932106&wc=M9MP-85V:1621026189

Adelaide Addison Pollard, Hymnist (1862-1934)

Dear Mr. Reed,

This cyberhymnal page provides the birth and death dates, middle name and some biographical information for Adelaide Addison Pollard. I've not yet made a study of her famous hymn, so I do not yet have further information about her.

May God Bless You and Your Family,

Dear Mike

I will be forever indebted to you. Thank you for these pictures. This is my father's family and I had almost everyone but them. I was hoping to get back to Pittsburgh to go there, but circumstances have prevented that. Thank you so much for taking the time to take these pictures. If you are related, I hope we will get to meet someday.

Edward L Strother
Use of photo
Hi Mike,
I was delighted to find your photos of the tombstone for Sarah Strother (1760-1822) on the Find A Grave Web site. May I have your permission to use the photos on another Web site?

I am a member of the William Strother Society and responsible for maintenance of their Web site at . Sarah Strother is descended from William Strother, who died in King George County in 1702. I would like to include your photo with the personal information for Sarah that is included in the Strother family database on that Web site. Of course, we would note that the photo was provided "Photo courtesy of Mike Reed at Find A Grave."

I appreciate your help with this request.

Commo Check
Dear Mike:

Thanks for your pioneering and substantial contributions to the broader genealogy community. I pray this note finds you fit and well.

The primary reason I write today is to inform you that your domain, < www. thecemeteryproject.com > has expired. When one clicks on your link it brings-up a splash box containing the following message:

"This domain has recently been listed in the marketplace at < domainnamesales.com. >."

If you are having difficulty with the fees I'd be pleased to help out with the finances, as I suspect other of your followers would. Please let us know if there is any way we can assist in keeping your work available as a resource for future family historians and geneaologists.

Very respectfully,
George
