Photo volunteers need the exact grave location. CALVARY CEMETERY has the largest number of interments of any cemetery in the United States. It occupies 365 acres divided into 4 divisions and 71 sections, and each section has plots (rows) and ranges, and each range has several graves with numbers. Please call Calvary Cemetery office at (718) 786-8000, get the exact grave(s) location, then go to “EDIT PLOT” and fill out the details given to you (SECTION, RANGE, PLOT and GRAVE NUMBER) and a photo volunteer will promptly take care of your request. Thank you.

Is the date of James Rowan O'Beirne's birth correct?
I have been doing some research on General James Rowan O'Beirne who was born in Ballagh, Roscommon, Ireland. In your findagrave site http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=6631867 you have him listed as been born in 1844. Today I looked at the United States census for 1900 and it listed James as been born in September 1839. This date would seem more accurate to me given his high ranking in 1861 as a republican fighter in the Civil War. I realise that '44 is the widely held belief, but I believe that to be wrong now. I am a journalist writing a piece about James' life. I am interested to know your source ie did it come from the headstone at Calvary cemetery?
