"Doc" Lee
I guess we'll just let it slide Tim. He can be found if someone wants to find him badly enough. I'll leave my memorial up since I'm certain that he's in Mount Carbon Cemetery, Jackson County. Thanks for checking on it.
Best wishes,
Paul

RE: "Doc" Lee
That's close (in spelling) - it's actually Murphysboro - Mount Carbon Cemetery, which is a little cemetery on the edge of town. I had my hands on his stone yesterday. Let me know if you want him. His family is buried around him, and the available links have been made. Check him out at the link I gave you on the previous message. Just a matter of avoiding confusion, but we can leave everything as is, if you prefer. Thank you for the response Tim.

Best wishes,
Paul Hoyt

George Michael Troup.
Could you please check the birth date on his stone . It differs from what is on the memorial and from the history books written.
I believe it should be Sep not Aug.
Thank You,
Sandy

Pamela Duprest
Memorial# 26069960
Tim, I just noticed your bio says no transfer request. Could you correct the memorial info for 26069960 to show her as Martha Paralee Trotter Sebastian, also she actuall died on 4/1/1962 and the missouri web does have her death certificate for proof. Can you connect her to her parents, Ebenezer Trotter Memorial# 45544826 and Ellen Hall Trotter Memorial# 4554486.

Thank you so Much
Pamela

Family of John Burton Thompson
I was glad to find George Claiborne Thompson's (# 99123522) nephew, John Burton Thompson.

Son of John Thompson. John served as first lieutenant in the 7th Virginia Regiment from 18 Mar 1776 until 28 Oct 1776 when he resigned. Early in 1778 he was appointed adjutant of Col. William Henry's regiment of Virginia militia. On 7 Jun 1781, while distributing orders to the officers of the regiment, he was taken prisoner by the British but later paroled. On 8 Apr 1782 he took the oaths as captain of the Fluvanna County militia. In March and again in Dec 1805 he was commissioned sheriff of Mercer Co., KY.
There are two more brothers who came to Kentucky I am working on. They are the children of Joseph and Sarah Claiborne Thompson. I have about 10 members of this family in different cemeteries.
Thank you for your help.
Kay
