|Ed Whiteman||Re Claude L Brewer burial at Greenlawn|
Claude Leon Brewer was my great grand father. He was born 30 Aug 1872 in Iowa. He died 19 Dec 1929 in Montgomery Co. Ohio at a V.A. facility. His wife was Jessie Margaret Dunlap Brewer (1872-1964), buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. Claudes's parents are buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, as well . His father was William Fee Brewer (1842-1912) . His mother's marker reads J L Brewer. Her full name was Juniata L Potts (1855-1912). If you are interested, I have information on several of the other Brewer burials. I also have information on a number of Dunlaps. As many have said before me, I am really grateful for your efforts and hard work. Sincerely, Ed Whiteman.

Thanks for the source; I used it to updated his DOB.
I appreciate the transfer offer, but my "relationship" to him is he is the "nephew of husband of 3rd great grand aunt". I was there mostly to search for my ILES ancestors and took some of the Nimon photos while there. Thanks again for your inputs. Richard

Can you tell me if your suggestion that the inscription gives "Aged 2Y 6M 19D" is based on the photo, or do you have additional information to support this? I agree with you that those are the numbers that I think it reads, and if so, then I have the wrong dob, which I'll update as well.
Thank you for your updates.

|Sharon Leon||Allen memorials|
Thank you for letting me know about the new Allen memorials. When I get a chance, I'll take a look at your Allen memorials to see if I can figure out if any of them are related to my Richard & Lucinda Allen branch. They came from VA to farm in the Moxahala part of Perry Co. back when it was good farm land. They're in the 1840 Perry Co. census, then Richard appears to have died before the 1850 census. Lucinda Allen died around 1875 in Hocking Co., according to the Hocking Co. death records, but I haven't been able to figure out yet where she or Richard were buried. In the 1870 Hocking Co. census, Lucinda was living with the Asa & Catharine (Pepper) Allen family with her listed as Catharine's mother, but it was more likely that Catharine was her granddaughter from a daughter who remained in VA. As I can find the time, I've been researching and posting memorials for the children of Asa & Catharine (Pepper) Lanning. I've set up a memorial for Lucinda Allen while looking for where she was buried, but haven't done that for Richard Allen. He was likely buried in Perry Co. in the vicinity of where they were farming, but he isn't on any of the Perry Co. cemetery transcripts. I suspect that either his headstone didn't survive or it's no longer legible. Some close Allen branch relatives of Richard Allen settled in Fairfield Co. with some moving into Perry Co. I need to examine my Allen branch more closely sometime. It's been carefully researched by someone on the Fairfield Co. Allen branch. I think he told me that the father of my Richard Allen was a Charles Allen in VA. Sharon
