I'm sorry for the delay in thanking you adding the Catton photos. It was much appreciated!

RE: James W. Gattis
There are two ways I would approach Rosella. First, get her death certificate and hope the person who filled it out knew her parents names. Secondly, hopefully she had brothers or sisters, trace them in records (hopefully, they are older so you can find them in census records). Hope this is helpful to you. Chris

RE: James W. Gattis
That's why I go to all these local cemeteries and try to list as many people as I can. The cemetery where you aunt is has over 80,000 burials as do others in the area. As you see, I have barely scratched the surface with my entries. However, over the years I have heard from many how they have looked for a loved one for years and only found it because I had taken a section of a cemetery that they were in. Receiving messages like this keep me going although as I grow older, I am slowing down a bit. By the way, send some of the rain this way, we could really use it. Chris

RE: James W. Gattis
You're very welcome. If you a related, I have no problem transferring the Gattis' to you. Just request through the Edit feature on each memorial. Chris

Your Aunt is correct. When I am mass entering graves the program sometimes just fills in a previous name I have typed that started with the same letter (W). I don't catch all of those. Thank you for pointing my mistake out to me. I have corrected it and added birth and death information for him. Chris

Thanks for your kind words. I enjoy working on here and communicating with people like you, who are cooperative and want things to be correct. You have an awesome day, too!

RE: Patrick James Bowcott
Hi! This particular Sidney Bowcott is actually Patrick's grandfather. I found an obituary for his father and his mother in my library's website and created memroials for them added links to Patrick's memorial.

I also linked Sidney R. and Sophia to Sidney Miles Bowcott's memorial as his parents.

Earl and Hannelore Catton
That would be wonderful if you could add photos to their memorials. I would appreciate it!

Earl Catton
Thanks for letting me know about Earl's final resting place. It has been changed from Springdale (the place listed in his obituary) to Resurrection Mausoleum. I, too, am related to the Cattons. My G-g-grandfather Holland Catton was an older brother of John Catton, Earl's grandfather. How are you related?

Lakeside and Lakeview are 2 separate cemeteries with Lakeside, the largest, on the West side of the Highway 29 and Lakeview on the East side.

RE: Oltman
Sonny, let me know if I have any other memorials you would like transferred to you. one of the reasons I make the memorials (besides the obvious ones) is to beat those number horders to it so that I *Can* transfer them to those with any interest. Sad but such is Find A Grave. I'm now concentrating on Billion Graves which has none of these "ownership" issues. Cheers.

I have transferred your ancestor over to your care but did not add the place of his birth as Sticklehanmperfelm, Ostfreisland, Germany as you suggested I do in your SAC. No such place exists under that spelling. YOu can now add what you like to it. Cheers.

I see on Find A Grave, Jacob was your GGGrandfather; I am researching his (2nd?) wife, Minnie A. Beck
b. 7-8-1877
d/o Jacob H. Beck & Anna Unknown Beck
m. Jacob Frahm after 1900

Do you have any Beck information? We are trying to learn maiden name of Anna (Mrs. Jacob) Beck.

RE: Yul Brynner and Day 65
Dear "Sonny",
I happened to read your tribute to Yul Brynner from Sept 23, 2012. It was day 65 of quitting smoking. Interestingly enough, I was not only looking for what I'd written to him a few yrs. ago, but was also going to let him know I finally listened to him and had quit smoking myself on Feb 17, 2007. Just wondering how your quitting smoking is coming along. I hope you are still smoke free. I had to use the patch, but it was worth it. Also spent @$15,000 refurbishing my house that I'd smoked in for nearly 30 years. Needless to say, not one cigarette has entered this house and not one cigarette has crossed these lips! Best of luck to you, sir! I also admire you for playing the organ at the different churches. Happy graving! With All Sincerity,
Kathie L.Webb Blair, Portland, Oregon
