Hi Mr. Johnson,
Many thanks for taking photos of John and Amanda Long's grave markers!
Also, appreciate your pointing out corrections to his obituary, i.e., Woodlawn and interment.

|Richard Narveson||Rev Adolph John "Pete" Soldan portrait|
The Village Church of Westwood has a life size portrait of the person we call "Pop" Soldan. We are wondering if the Seminary Rev Soldan would be interested in having this portrait but we do not know the name of the Seminary he attended nor where it was located (possibly Missouri). Thank you for your comments on this matter. Richard Narveson, email@example.com

Brother Johnson: I would like to thank you for doing a virtual cemetery entry of Mason's. I just finished going through it and learned a lot.
I belong to Canton Lodge #481 in Celina Tennessee. While I was the WM I started putting together as many MM as I could that were buried in Clay County Tennessee, and I have a lot (not all). I will now try to do what you have done for those in my county. Thank you so much.

Sorry, forgot to answer you other question. Alexander Douglas Thomson was cremated and is not buried, his ashes were scattered. Adam Gentles Thomson, I do not know where he eventually ended up.

I did make it to that cemetery, in order to try and get pictures of Clara Eloise McConnell, daughter of Odell McConnell and Annie Seay. She married Adam Gentles Thomson (a member in my family). They are buried in the same area as her parents, and in the course of my research I have met a couple of their descendants. So I took the opportunity to snap a couple of pics of Odell and Annie, and if you know anything about where they are buried, it becomes a sort of "mission impossible" situation. No pics allowed! It did not help that Michael Jackson had just been buried in the same building shortly before my visit.

Have not been down south of Dallas in several months. Will hopefully be heading down after the first of the year. I will check as I would think his marker should be up by now.

|Chris Mirando||RE: Bob Mizer|
Hey Bernard , I was last out there in 2012, as I live 3,000 miles away in upstate New York. The office was very helpful in providing a map to the grave. Sadly I have been shot down twice as Find A Grave does not feel that Bob meets their criteria for famous. I strongly disagree, as they have numerous minor sports figures and civil war generals who have not been the subject of a movie bio picture, like Bob, but oh well. My memorial for Forester Dorloc, which is not famous might be of interest as he was the first AMG model. Happy hunting

I'd be happy to transfer the memorials for your great grandmother and half brother! I look forward to the additional information you have to add to their memorials--I'm avidly interested in the history of the Berkeley area and its past citizens.

yes -- Oscar's parents are behind his stone ---there seems to some confusion about the death date of his wife - the memorial says 1950, but the stone says 1939

Well hello again! Long time no 'see'. I remember that you are one that has documented funeral directors. Thanks for adding the photo to George's memorial. It looks great. I took a peek at the Overholtzer memorial and eeeegaaads! That is one of the worse flat stones I have ever seen. How could you even tell it was his?
I was at IPC today, too, and Hillside as well.
Anyway, glad you kept in touch.

Dear Mr. Johnson:
I have made the changes you have requested to the information on Find A Grave.
I am a aquaintance of Dr. John W. Landon who wrote the biography "Jess Crawford: Poet of the Organ; Wizard of the Mighty Wurlitzer. I wanted to inquire of him before changing the burial site, but I will do this for you today. Jesse's death certificate is unclear as to where the cremains are buried.
I am wondering if perhaps some of his cremains are interred in California along with those of his third wife Lucy who survived him. Lucy was a friend of my very good friend, the late Dr. Ed Mullins.
