Claire Kirkpatrick
I received your edit request to unlink Claire and John Kirkpatrick as husband and wife. Her obituary names him as her husband and they share a marker. I am declining the request, if you have proof please provide me with the source.

ralph a. applegate
connected to?
Was he (Benjamin-1708)Chambers connected in any way, and he likely was , to James Dean , who was in or near Southwest of Carlisle in that same period ? Both, I believe , were Indian Traders , James Dean was licensed in 1772, and both could have been members of Society of Indian Traders , inter alia ? I would like to know because James Dean could have been nearly 1st one to I call it Jersey Settlement No. 2 (Yohogania)when he noticed in late 1768 a parcel of land there that he had Surveyed to William(1733)Applegate in 1790 ! I have no proof yet when James Dean was born, or where ? You may have a clue ? I seem to recall that Benjamin(1708)Chambers was found near Bristol, Pa, in his early period , and you know that he had a Ferry across Schuylkill River in that early period which changed to Gray's Ferry!Etc.

Picture of Metilda Anderson gravestone
You provided a picture on this website of the marker for Matilda Anderson, my paternal 3x great grandmother, who died in 1882 and is buried in Congressional Cemetery. However, I can find no record of the grave for her husband, John Anderson, who died between 1840 and 1850. In the pic of Matilda's marker, there is just edge of the adjoining marker, the first name initial of which appears to be "J.". I can find no specific record of his death, just an index card in D.C.'s records between 1840 and 1964. From Census and city directory records, I know John died before 1850. Is it possible that you would already have a pic of the markers near Matilda's, and could you determine if John Anderson is buried there as well? If so, can you provide the pic, please? Thank you!

RE: Daisy Rarrick Stout
There were no other Stouts in that cemetery. I did some research on and found census records from 1940 that show her husband as Charles B Stout. The 1930 census shows Charles married to Catherine B Stout. After a little digging I found a Charles Bertram Stout and a Katherine Brining Stout buried in Greenlawn Cemetery (Columbus, OH). The birth and death dates seem to fit into the timeline nicely.

Schrader in Sandy City Cemetery

Check the Schrader memorials set up in the Sandy City Cemetery. Yesterday I managed to locate the cemetery markers for All of the Schraders buried there and posted those photographs to their memorials. I've also posted Utah death certificates for most and submitted edit requests to correct some information and to add missing parental/spousal links. Those should show up as processed in a day or two. One surname was misspelled - Rosamond Schrader had her surname spelled Scharder on her memorial. Hope this helps you with your family!

Henry Schrader

In regards to your inquiry:

I tried to add Henry's wife who is also buried in this cemetery, Maria Dorothea Sofia Schmidt and it was rejected stating that it conflicted with "someone's information." Henry is my great uncle. His brother Albert Schrader buried in Peru, IN is my grandfather. Can you tell me what information you have conflicts with this?

I declined the edit because you had listed the same memorial number 75541 as the spouses link. Thus you would've listed this person to be their own spouse. I had added this note when I declined it.

Please resubmit the correction with the wife's memorial number and I will be glad to make the update.

James Lawson Kemper
Hi Janet. I see you were one of the people who posted a photo from James Kemper's gravesite. I was planning a trip through Orange county VA next week and wanted to see this grave for myself, but other websites indicate it's on private property. I was wondering if you had any advice on how I could get permission to go there. Thanks. :)

I am searching my ancestry, and have sent you an email, hope you receive it, but in case you don't I am leaving this message. If you have any information on the soldier name of Reason Burns, I would be greatly interested. Also, could you email me a clearer picture of the inscription of his name on the plaque. Thank you Clairine Johnson

Kinseeker's Cousin
Grave Marker for Pvt Jesse Winchester Reeves

I'm wondering if you could possibly take a photo of the grave marker of my GG Uncle Jesse Winchester Reeves in the Stonewall Confederate Cemetery in Winchester, Winchester City, Virginia. His memorial is #11512626. The photo of the grave marker that is currently on his memorial looks like it says "W Reeves." I just want to make sure it's the right one.

Thank you,
Connie Israel

Memorial #7448712
Hey there,

I noticed on this memorial it is listed as Robert Edward Lee, III. I was wondering if the "III" is correct? The tombstone reads Robert E. Lee, 3rd son of W.H.F. Lee. I thought the "III" meant that his father would have had the same name as well. If so, probably saw the "3rd" and didn't realize it was referring to the third son born. I'd appreciate knowing if this is an error or not!! Thanks, Terri (

John Archibald Campbell
I am a direct descendent pf Jphn Archibald Campbell looking for his wife's (Anne or Anna Goldthwaite Campbell) grave. She died 3 years after him according to records and they have several children and possibly her mother burried there---I am looking everywhere for her!!! She is barely mentioned in any of his info---except as the Goldthwaite family of Ala. was connected to him and his developement as a legal and political figure.

Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!!!
