Brown Cemetery, Hudson Twp. Mich.
Hello, I live a couple of miles from Brown Cemetery, and my husband and I have researched the gravesites there with the local museum. I am pretty sure the last known burial at Brown Cemetery was in the 1920s or 1930s.

If Nelson Watkins is there, we have not ever seen a gravestone; and it's our understanding the cemetery has been inactive for some decades.
I hope you don't mind my curiousity.

RE: Jay Rathwell
Thanks again,Chris. Is Jay in the Wellington Cemetery? I appreciate you doing this for me. If I do ever get back to the Oberlin area, I hope to get to all the cemeteries in the area. So far, I've only been to Westwood in Oberlin, one of the Pittsfield Cemeteries, and two in Amherst. Oh, and over to the Belden (Old Grafton) one too. But that one is very hard to find, so I've only been there once. I have family in almost all of the West Lorain County Cemeteries, as far as I know. Also, in at least two in the Bellevue area. I don't imagine I'll ever have a chance to get to all of them. Pat

RE: Jay Rathwell
Chris,

I appreciate you taking the time to locate Jay Rathwell's grave site. Yes, if it is possible, I'd like you to post the grave. Did you notice any other Rathwell graves close to where Jay and his wife are buried? As far as I know, all the Rathwell people in Lorain County are related to my father's maternal side.

Thank you again. Pat

Thank you
Thank you so very much for the photos as well as the information about my Rogers relatives. This added a piece to the puzzle as I did not have the spouse's name for Betty Jane Rogers. I greatly appreciate your efforts.
