Good morning Mae Thunder. I wanted to thank you for the wonderful photo of Mr. Drogan's gravemarker, that you added to his memorial on July 10. I apologize for the delay in this acknowledgement. He served in the same World War II combat outfit as did my beloved late father (the 325th GIR). Your kindness and thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. Thank you again!

I have transferred your ancestor to your care.
Yes, I am related but not as directly as you are.
Ruth Cain Argo's grandparents are William and Hannah Standfield Cain and that is our connection.
Good luck and best wishes. Bobbie

Thanks for getting back to me.

The good news: the cemetery confirmed she is buried next to Thomas.
The bad news: the grave is unmarked (see photo and comment added).
I changed her death date to 1866, if you have additional info, feel free to send it along.

Thank you for taking the picture! At least now, members of the family who may be looking for him Charles and Matilda may be able to find them and appreciate the effot youmade. You could probably attach that same picture to the memorial for charles and Matilda.

It is possible that it is 1866 and Oakwood's website is wrong. I'll change it for now to 'Unknown' and request a photo Thanks, LG

Thanks so much for the pictures that you posted on
Ernstine Perry's memorial. It had been a long time since I last saw her innocent smile.
Ernstine and my grandmother were past the 3rd cousin stage. My Grandmother was Myrtle Huff Massey. If you saw her then you know me...I was her shadow until the day she died in 1999.
In fact 99.9% of everyone buried at Maple Springs, are either direct blood line or married blood line.
If you have pics of any other Maple Springs post
Again Many Thanks
