Wilhelmina and William was Mueller
Miller is what they are listed as. I know that William was stated as having a metal marker and Wilhelmina is not listed as having no stone, so I assume when they were reading the cemetery they took the names of Miller off the stones. A good amount of those stones are unreadable and possibly lost. I looked through my pictures again and cannot make any of them out as Miller. I did find her under Mueller in the 1903 city listing with her son Richard and then in the 1905 city listing under Miller with her son. Both times listed as widow of William.

Name: Mrs Wilhelmina Mueller
Gender: Female
Residence Year: 1903
Street address: 1110 Catherine
Residence Place: Pekin, Illinois, USA
Spouse: William Mueller
Publication Title: Pekin, Illinois, City Directory, 1903

ame: Mrs Willielmina Miller
Gender: Female
Residence Year: 1905

RE: Guede
I do have a record for a Dora T Guede near Carl's grave but no Dorothea. It is in the oldest part of the cemetery and records have been lost so if the stone is missing she will be lost. Sorry 'bout that.

RE: Eunice Warner Priest memorial# 143609444
A few minutes between patients, so I obtained the Rev. War Pension application made by Eunice and Ethan Priest. WOW! What a read. At first I thought, "Oh no, here's another widow who is being put through the wringer unfairly." Then I read a personal letter from the Town Clerk of Harvard, MA concerning the relationships of Elijah Priest and . . . well, it was quite a story, enough to stop all proceedings on the pension. I've transcribed various affidavits and the letter. If you don't have access to the full pension file, just send me a message and I'll send you the transcriptions.

RE: Eunice Warner Priest memorial# 143609444
Hi Shelly,

You're right, no one is citing the source for the death record of Elijah Priest. You probably know that he doesn't appear in a census record in VT, possibly because he was living in the household of one of his children. But there is no record of his death in Vermont or of his burial.

In addition, I checked the transcriptions of the burials in Pittsford (every cemetery, every stone was done) and he does not have a gravestone there.

Last, I looked at the probate records 1797 - 1818 for the Fair Haven District (which covers Pittsford) and he had no probate. I turned then to the probate records 1781 - 1826 for the Rutland District (which covers Mount Holly, where Eunice died) and there is no probate for him there either. This is very odd because if he died in 1812 he would have been a fairly young man and he had a family. So, even if he had no property to disburse, he would have had a probate to appoint guardianship of son Ethan, who would have been 11 or 12.

This makes me wonder if he and Eunice lived elsewhere, and perhaps she moved to Rutland County after Elijah died.

Tomorrow I will call and ask my friend Dawn Hance, a historian for Rutland Co., who grew up in Mt Holly and knows all there is to know about that territory, whether she's got any information on the Priest family.

OK, that's all for now.

Hi Shelly,

Yes, you're welcome to use the photograph.

And, sorry, I've no idea where Elijah Priest is buried. Do you know when he died? If so, I can look to see if he had a probate or ask my friend, Dawn Hance, a historian, who grew up in Mt Holly, if she has any information on him.

RE: Neta Endsley memorial...
Shelly...give me a few days to go back thru the paperwork and I will see if I can find that death certificate again and see if a maiden name is listed. Also, I will see if there is a certificate for her husband. I will let you know what I find. Again, are you related to her?

Re: Neta Endsley memorial...
Shelly, the reason I had posted the entry for Neta Endsley was that I ran across a copy of her death certificate and since it was not entered into FindAGrave, I entered it so it doesn't become one lost to the ages. Was she related to you? I checked the cemetery for more Endsley's and there doesn't seem to be any other buried OR at least entered there. Best regards.

Dear Mrs. Shelly Ketchum,

I do well understand what you mean and posted.

Yet a woman which marries fought for those three letters and really four characters ( Mrs. ). I see/saw on Find a grave they do not have the period in the drop down Titles. They do not have my P.E. nor even Ph.D. .
In some software even in Trading we lack sometimes at certain Broker/Dealers a Zero .. well even the Romans did not have a Zero...

I try to have accuracy in any/all DATA.

Please add me as your friend. On Find a grave too.

RE: Ben E. Scott
I do not recall who provided the information in the biographical section to me. I only put information in this area if I have found an obituary OR if someone else provides it. I simply have no way of knowing if information provided by someone else is correct unless an photo of an obituary is provided. If you have information to the contrary and also have an obituary, I would be happy to make the corrections AND add the obit.
