Thanks for taking the time to photograph and post the headstones for the Russell family members that are buried in the Oak Grove cemetery in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. Headstone photos like these really help to complete the on line memorials and to help verify information.

It has been so long since I was at Woodlawn Cemetery. That is a huge cemetery to walk around plus the 2 other cemeteries next to it. Tom Byerly is my 1/2 great uncle. He had a different mother than my great grandfather making him only a 1/2 uncle if that makes any sense. I really do thank you for taking the other marker for Tom & his wife Mary. I didn't realize it was there!!! Excellent find for me Cliff!!
I do have other relatives there, obviously, mostly in the Clark & Campbell families. There is a person you can call there, or maybe they are on site, but I think not, that can give you locations of markers. The phone # is 217-935-6552. Of course I could call them also, but nothing has been important enough for me to do so at this point, but here's the number if you want to use it.
There is another really old cemetery there just south of downtown called the McGraw Family Cemetery http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2203444 I only have one request there and it is for a child which probably has no readable marker. There is another old cemetery I'd like to visit out near Kenney, the Hays-Coppenbarger Cemetery http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2205794 where I also have one request. I know someone that lives near there, but doubt I can get them to go out there and look for Nancy Byerly Coppenbarger. I suspect the cemetery is hard to find & possibly overgrown, although this time of the year you might find it. I recall being shown where it was once and it was off the road on a basically unused dirt road, probably partially grass, into a field. So if you even consider that one I should give you the phone # of those people that live close & they could take you there. The picture on the cemetery page shows that they have cleaned it up....so maybe it is easier to find now.

|BF McLaughlin||Thank you|
Clifford, appreciate your efforts in taking a picture of Lucinda Bennett DeLand's gravestone in Woodlawn in Dewitt, Illinois.
Can you believe as recently as 2 years ago I had the cemetery AND researchers telling me this stone didn't exist? I had the death record from the county saying it was there, so I figured there was just no stone. But then another researcher came along and said once that she'd seen the stone.
And now you shot the stone! Thanks again!

Love the photo showing the full length view of the marker and the proximity of the smaller marker to it. I noticed that the full length view of the taller marker shows Josiah Luttrell. I assume Missouri is on the back side? So good of you! Thank you!
Basically I need photos of all Byerly markers that have no photo, but I suspect none of them have a marker...unfortunately. There is also a request for Mary VanGundy that is mine.
Do you think you'll be around long enough to go to another cemetery in DeWitt County?
My husband is retired from the Midwest Operating Engineers Union, IUOE, Local 150, which is in Illinois. A lot of pipeline guys are in the IUOE union. He never has worked pipeline however.
