My pleasure. I also created a memorial for her husband David, and posted a picture of his marker as well.

You're so welcome. Sorry I didn't have anything to clean the moss off with and I didn't get a chance to look for your other requests as I was on a mission to photograph all the WWII Veterans killed in action. I'll get to Minnesota again this summer and try to get the rest if they haven't been claimed.

RE:Howard Ernest Averill..#11499814
I have no ties to this family, so all I had was a name and a death certificate. I found very little under Eastling, but what I found was pretty telling. The last location under Eastling was in Colorado, on one list he is noted as missing and unaccounted for from the military. In 1904, it appears he is going to be brought up on charges for desertion from the military. I found this on Then I could not find him after that. So it is my opinion that they (Averill and Eastling) are the same person and that he WANTED to disappear as Eastling. Even his place of birth and on his death cert is says Michigan where most info says Minnesota. If he was fleeing prosecution, I doubt he would have legally changed his name, but if you want to persue that check Colorado and Utah. Interesting question you asked!! Good luck in your hunt!

This evening I will do some looking around and see what I can find. This really is confusing!

RE: George M.Boyce #54175295
Sorry it took so long to get back to you about the information on the George Boyce's memorial.

The information is from his obituary in the Harlem Valley times, and I have to assume it's correct. I just posted the obit on his memorial so you can look at it yourself

RE: photos
US Copyright law gives me the right to control the use of photographs I have taken.

My (current) standard caption on my photos say to please not take them for re-uploading to (instead link your tree back to the F.a.G. memorial here). Any other private non-profit use I allow (such as a personal web site).

I simply don't want my photos put behind the "paywall" of Ancestry where even I can not see me own photos without paying. Here on F.a.G. my photos are available to anyone that wants to see them. If you have another use besides, let me know. Otherwise, my request stands.

Sorry if you don't like it, but you will find that Find A Grave (and support & enforce Copyright of contributors.

Although you've sent me ~

a suggestion for Betty Iwinski (memorial 103619433), indicating that her maiden name is Tverberg, I'm wondering then why her obit states that she is the daughter of George and Annie Madland, which gives the impression that her maiden name is Madland.

You're most welcome. Check the "edits" tab on your member page, as I've sent the plot section and number. Just click "accept" to automatically add the information to the memorial - no need to type it yourself. The wonders of technology. :)

RE: Edward Harrington. d.1844
Click on the photo to get a more detailed view. It says Harrington was born ...25, 1812. I don't know for sure if it's referring to Edward, but it is definitely his stone. Do you know his birth date?
The stone has sunk into the ground, and one side can not be seen at all.

I'll post another shot taken earlier in the day.

RE: inez kohn
Hi Earl, I pulled both photos when I saw the new request. If the request is open when I get back to my computer tonight, I'll add the sidelong view of the grave and fulfill the request. I added a caption before that said George is there, but the bummer with Find-A-Grave captions is that they don't show until you click on the photo. So the average viewer may not see the information. - David

RE: george and inez kohn in same plot.
Hi Earl, I saw you requested George's grave photo again. He's there with Inez, but his name is not on the grave. The cemetery records will show if they were married, but I suspect they were as this is a section of double-depth crypts - 2 graves, 1 marker. Given the state of things, what do you want the photo to show? David

RE: george Kohn page
Hi, glad to remove it. The caption states that George and Inez are both buried in the grave. Only Inez has a marker, though. Do you want just the Inez image removed or both?

RE: Hester Urma Callahan
Her name should be spelled Esther Urmy, but I don't manage the memorial, so I can't change it.
