|Anne ||RE: Clement/Deos transfers|
I think I got them all! I have also sent an edit to the manager of Mary Ann Deos Locklin, another daughter, to link her to her parents.
Thank you for accepting the transfers...glad they will have a family home!

More than happy to transfer. Very glad they are with family. If you would like any of the children linked to them just let me know.
Added photos as well.

The transfer has been sent. She was my step 4x great-grandmother. I figure since you have a blood connection, she should belong to you. I'm sorry for the delay, I only just saw your message tonight.

I apologize for not responding to your request for transfer of Aaron Martin since September 2015, but my husband passed away in August and I have not been going on Find A Grave until now.
Yes, I will be glad to transfer him to you, and will go on his memorial and try to transfer.

Hi Jo... sorry for the delay, I'm just seeing your request. I normally transfer memorials with no problem unless it's an ancestor. She is also my ggg/grandmother ... I guess that means we're related! :) If you contact me at my listed email, I'd love to share information with you.

I don't know where they got that at..although a little girl named Sarah Brown died and then after a few deaths her grandpa McPike moved the bodies up on a hill as the lst one was on wet ground...I know because I lived there..so Jesse moved about 8 and my ancestor Susanah Long was lst one on the hill...if you look up Upper Spring Grove Cemetery, Buchanan County Iowa you will find all you want to know for now...Susanah was married to a Holman and he died and she married a Long...I know the Upper spring grove is not neat but my husband was ill and died not long ago..I am having bad days. and my health is not good..had heart surgery short time ago...get back to me and we will get it straight...I have lived here all my life so I know it well..have a good day..

Hi! I can certainly understand your interest in the Phillips, but as their memorials are part of a great deal of research I did to document that cemetery, and as they exceed the number of past generations in one's family line for manatory transfer per Find a Grave guidelines, I am respectfully declining your request. That being said, I am always delighted to add links or other info you would care to see added, giving you credit, of course, should you wish it. You are always free to add any photos you may possess to any of my memorials at any time. Thank you for your understanding.

|David Shipley||RE: Warren L. Shipley|
Great Grandpa Warren and Great Grandma Deffie Minerva only lived in Bandon, Oregon I think for a short time near his half-brother William Wallace. In fact I believe it was a prolonged visit away from the Kansas homestead where one of his younger sons Dewey was in charge (and his granddaughters still live). Warren's eldest son John George also lived nearby. Several of the photos I have are postcard style and are addressed to each other between Kansas and Oregon. If you get in contact with Linda Schafer who still helps run the farm in Kansas with her two sisters, she has more information on her Ancestry profile. I'll contact you privately via email soon to give you her email.
Hope this helps!

i got the message from find a grave with your report. i wanted to let you know i appreciate all your time and trouble. i also got an email from another photo volunteer who emailed me with basically the same problem you had. i'm thinking that the person who listed the memorial just assumed there was a burial because a memorial service was held in a church by that cemetery. i sent her a note requesting she either correct the listing or put "burial unknown" so no one else requests a photo for a headstone that possibly doesn't even exist.
thank you for your time trying to locate this gravesite. again, i really do appreciate it. i wish you much success with all your other photo shoots. stay warm. and happy.

Again, thank you! You have no idea how much this means to my grandma, she has been trying to fill in the gaps in her family album. You have helped so tremendously!
