Reinker Family

I just added a photo for Gustav Reinker, Albertina J. W. Reinker is on the headstone as well. I also found headstones for the following people:

Clarence G. and Lura Opal Reinker
E. Eva and E. Erwin Reinker
Sylvester R. and Esther P. Reinker

Each of the above couples has a shared stone.

Please let me know if you'd like the photos.

Thank you!

Yes there are three people buried there to my knowledge. I will have to confirm this through! I am a Ruffing descendent what part of the tree are you looking for? Have you seen the blue Ruffing family tree book put out in the 1980"s? I have worked on much of the tree self!

RE: Ruffing Immaculate Conception

I went back looking through some records and found their burial information. My apologies!

If you look at Louis page you made for him, you will see why he was missed. There was no headstone for him. Just the base where the stone has been removed. He also is not in the New Section this marker is buried in the main middle section of the cemetery. If you have any questions please let me know. I will check back again later at the cemetery to see if they are going to put another stone up for them.

RE: Ruffing Immaculate Conception

I am sorry I am not following your last message? What exactly are you asking me?

I have photographed every stone in the cemetery and uploaded them to F-A-G. If there is no memorial added and they died prior to 2014 which both of the graves you asked for photos of did, there is no stone.

RE: Ruffing Immaculate Conception

I have photographed every stone in the cemetery as of 2014 and have just been out there. There are no stone(s) for them. I have created a memorial for every grave in the cemetery known to be. Unless they died after Nov 2014 they do not have a stone. Unless of course someone died shortly before that time and didn't have one put out yet. I think I have them all up until that date! :)

RE: Barrett
I added some more Barrett names to the cemetery. I will be uploading more photos. I try to shoot in between our snow days! Do these names ring a bell-
E.John Barrett, Ethel Barrett, Edward J Walter MD, Fred and Mary Lamberton? They are all together with matching stones. D

Hi Charles, Stopped by the other day and photographed the stones that were covered by snow last time. I will upload the photos. Let me know if the names ring a bell. I'll stop by next week as soon as the ground is finally clear. A lot of the stones there are low to the ground and still covered. D

Hi Charles,

"I believe this death certificate has the husband's parents cited. I can prove this by the marriage records. I recommended to the "Find A Grave" maintainer to add a clarifying note. That clarifies this confusion."

Did you submit an edit to add Agnes's maiden name of Niehoff? That may also help to clarify if this is indeed her. Adding as many details as possible seems to help much more than to hurt.

I assume you sent an edit to link her to her mother, 7716939 and her father, 7716938. I submitted an edit to link the two parents. Linking is a great way to keep the confusion down.

"This Joseph is not part of my family...his parents Rudolph and Lottie. Lottie just happens to be the same first name as one of the wives of one of my relatives. I am certain that Rudolph is not in my immediate family. ... Some day I'll probably find that Rudolph is somehow related!!"

I'd bet you $100 right now that he and Charlotte are related, and I am not a gambler.

Well, seems like you have done what you can for right now, though I see info missing from the headers such as birth and death details. Me ... I am not related to many persons I pass info along for .... just trying to help.

Okay, maybe later,

Hi, I emailed you some new information today-
Hope it helps in your search!

Bertha Spahn
Hi Charles,

Thank you for your message. You should be able to view the original doc for the Spahn-Ziegler marriage here:

The doc has the actual marriage date towards the bottom right.

Ziegler-Kundtz Marriage; there is an original doc available, but I have not created a family search account, and to pull this doc requires one. It is free to create an account.

In any event, the online record:

Now perhaps you can assist me. This is the link to Bertha's brother, Joseph:

I am hung up on their mother's name. The marriage records say Anna Lickert, but I pull up Ida and Alma in census records. Maybe you can help me out there, if you have branched out this far in your tree.

Okay, thanks again, Charles,

I picked up the request for Dorothy and Arthur and came across Calvin and Emma before I saw the others. They are buried in rows next to each other. Sorry the photos look askew -- the stones are not level in that area. Anyone else you need from Forest Lawn, just let me know. The weather has been beautiful here!!

Yes, Helen is buried beside him. I took the photo of her stone as well, but didn't have time yesterday to make a memorial for her. Do you want to make the memorial and then I'll post the photo on it?

Michael Wise
I so appreciate the time it took to get to get this picture for me. I've been looking for him for decades! He is my 3rd great grandfather. I'm still looking for his wife Elizabeth, no maiden name. Did you see any sigh that she might be buried near him? There are no other Wise's in the cemetery. Can you tell me what was written on the headstone. It's hard to see it because it's so old. Again thanks so much for the picture.

Thanks so much for fulfilling my photo requests at Letort and Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I greatly appreciate your time and effort. My husband and I went to a cemetery and trying to finish it up, including witching for unmarked graves. I think this might be one of the last days because of the weather to be out....sigh.

Sarah Spall
Hi Charles,

I found 2 more names on the stone with Sarah Spall.

Elsie A. 1904-1977 & Joseph J. Spall 1903-1990.

I thought you would to add them in and I'll add the photos.

Deb aka The Bull
