Hope it helps in your search!

Bertha Spahn
Hi Charles,

Thank you for your message. You should be able to view the original doc for the Spahn-Ziegler marriage here:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1-18059-4893-32

The doc has the actual marriage date towards the bottom right.

Ziegler-Kundtz Marriage; there is an original doc available, but I have not created a family search account, and to pull this doc requires one. It is free to create an account.

In any event, the online record:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/K8BB-CWD

Now perhaps you can assist me. This is the link to Bertha's brother, Joseph:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=spahn&GSiman=1&GScid=72782&GRid=142307112&

I am hung up on their mother's name. The marriage records say Anna Lickert, but I pull up Ida and Alma in census records. Maybe you can help me out there, if you have branched out this far in your tree.

Okay, thanks again, Charles,

Sheila

I picked up the request for Dorothy and Arthur and came across Calvin and Emma before I saw the others. They are buried in rows next to each other. Sorry the photos look askew -- the stones are not level in that area. Anyone else you need from Forest Lawn, just let me know. The weather has been beautiful here!!

Yes, Helen is buried beside him. I took the photo of her stone as well, but didn't have time yesterday to make a memorial for her. Do you want to make the memorial and then I'll post the photo on it?

I so appreciate the time it took to get to get this picture for me. I've been looking for him for decades! He is my 3rd great grandfather. I'm still looking for his wife Elizabeth, no maiden name. Did you see any sigh that she might be buried near him? There are no other Wise's in the cemetery. Can you tell me what was written on the headstone. It's hard to see it because it's so old. Again thanks so much for the picture.

Thanks so much for fulfilling my photo requests at Letort and Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I greatly appreciate your time and effort. My husband and I went to a cemetery and trying to finish it up, including witching for unmarked graves. I think this might be one of the last days because of the weather to be out....sigh.

Sarah Spall
Hi Charles,

I found 2 more names on the stone with Sarah Spall.

Elsie A. 1904-1977 & Joseph J. Spall 1903-1990.

I thought you would to add them in and I'll add the photos.

Thank you very much for your time in doing that. I was out to the Mechanicsburg/Carlisle area in July to visit my Granny, who is 96 years old by the way....I did get to go to the historical society, court house, and 4 cemeteries, as well as visit the living relatives...not bad for a week, but too little time to get everything done! :)

Thank you for looking for Mary as well as contacting the office!...Do you happen to know if there is another Slate Hill cemetery in the area of Mechanicsburg? I know the cemeteries out there often have multiple names. Her obituary said she was there, so maybe she shared a plot???? Don't know, thanks again, Jessica

RE: Mary Kundtz at West Park
Dear Charles, went back to West Park Cemetery and the photo that I submitted was for Mary Kundtz, age 62, plot 14-69-1N. John Kundtz, age 91, plot 14-69-2S. Cemetery index lists both having the same address, 5405 Denison, same as on Mary"s death cert. Also found a Cleveland Plain Dealer obit for John, died 10/29/1948, dated 10/31/1948, husband of the late Mary, nee Quirsfeld, father of Mary Darvas, John & Adolph. Think the son John may be the one who signed on Mary"s death cert. Let me know what you think. West Park also has a Mary Kundtz, age 43, 1880-1923 if related. Peace, Dan

Friedels at Calvary
Greetings - the snow has melted but the hearts of Calvary Cemetery management apparently remain frozen.

Calvary Cemetery isn't very cooperative in looking up grave locations to Find-A-Grave photography volunteers - they'll only do 3 at a time and recently cut me off from asking for any more locations. I was trying to add locations for the very large backlog of photo reqs for the cemetery; there's over 400 requests. Those that include the grave plot get photographed first, so I'd recommend that you add that info to the Find-A-Grave memorial page. Call 216-641-7575 for the cemetery office; they'll provide you 3 locations without charging you for them.
